15. Evan Peters & Emma Roberts
Stars of hit horror show American Horror Story, Emma Roberts, niece of the legendary Julia Roberts, and Evan Peters, began dating in 2012 during the making of teen flick, Adult World, in which they both starred. Indulging in a turbulent romance that could be played out like a Hollywood drama, the lovebirds have had more bust ups than a high school romance. In fact, things got so bad, that in 2013, the police were called to investigate a dispute heard in a hotel room that they were staying at. Finding Peters with a bloody nose, authorities immediately arrested Roberts on suspicion of domestic violence, causing them to release a statement soon after with regards to it being one big misunderstanding. Hmmm. Continuing to work together, the pair became engaged soon after, which was then called off when the pair announced that they had split, as well as deleting all traces of one another on social media. Speaking of the union, Cuoco stated, “it was a wonderful relationship but we never spoke a word about it and never went anywhere together. We were so protective of ourselves and the show and didn’t want anything to ruin that”. Crazy. Dating for a solid two years, the pair eventually split, with Cuoco revealing that in the beginning, things were difficult for the ex-lovers, claiming, “it took a minute, a bit of awkwardness. Back when Vampires were super hot, stars of the popular teen drama The Vampre Diaries, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder hooked up off screen, replicating their steamy success on screen. That’s right, caught in a supernatural love triangle on the show itself, the real life lovers embarked on a three-year relationship, dating from 2010 to 2013. However, with all good things coming to an end at some point, the beautiful couple split, stating that they would definitely stay firm friends. That’s what they all say. Recalling the romance, Dobrev stated, “I didn’t want to be dating one of my co-stars, my goal on the show was to be professional.” Continuing to play on screen lovers, the roles eventually got too much, with Dobrev quitting the show, and Somerhalder announcing his engagement not long after.

Starring in the critically acclaimed supernatural drama, Heroes, co-stars Milo Ventimiglia and Hayden Panettiere, embarked on a love affair that lasted for almost two years. Obviously having a penchant for the older male, Ventimiglia was 12 years her senior, the pair were often snapped looking madly in love on a regular basis, as well as turning up to set together each morning. However, things got worse for Rivera when it was revealed that her ex-boyfriend had been arrested for possessing indecent images of young children, resulting in a definite prison sentence. Commenting on the incident, Rivera wrote, “I can’t say I was totally shocked, but still – WTF? Filing for divorce in 2013, after 23 years together, the two were still contracted to film together, often seen in the middle of awkward encounters and petty spats. Coming out as trans soon after, Caitlyn and Kris were at war, with Kris claiming that the breakup was “the most passive-agressive thing ever”, going on to state that, “there wasn’t a gender issue. Nobody mentioned a gender issue. ”
5. Daniel Sharman & Crystal Reed
Stars of popular drama, Teen Wolf, Daniel Sharman and co-star Crystal Reed shacked up during the second season, after Reed had already been linked to half the cast beforehand. Snapped kissing and cuddling on a regular basis, the handsome pair became the object of a number of fans affections. However, sadly coming to an end after only a short while, Reed confirmed the break up during an interview, in which she discussed an earlier trip to Paris for work. Speaking to reporters, Reed stated. “I went by myself and it was cold, but it was still really, really beautiful, I was just getting over a breakup, so it was something that just jumpstarted my singleness.” Only having to work together for a short while after, the pair both eventually left during season 3. Awkward.
4. Sophia Bush & Chad Michael Murray
Not her again! Very much into dating her co-stars, Sophia Bush hooked up with Chad Michael Murray during the early days of teen smash One Tree Hill. Living their on screen romance in real life, the love birds became instant fan favorites. Engaged, the pair eventually married one year later, however, sadly separated after a mere five months. Continuing to work together on screen, things were reportedly awkward between the ex lovers, with Bush later recalling, “we were two stupid kids who had no business being in a relationship in the first place. To all the other co-stars who’ve worked it out, more power to you.” Ouch. Acquiring a taste for the One Tree Hill alumni, Bush began dating co-star James Lafferty as well as Austin Nichols, with the latter resulting in a four-year relationship.
3. Katie Holmes & Joshua Jackson
As well as choosing Pacey in hit teen drama Dawson’s Creek, Katie Holmes also chose the leading man in real life.
