Celebrity romances — we can’t live with them and we can’t live without him. There’s just something fascinating about the life of superstars who are in love with one another. It creates the entire theme of nicknames like Brangelina (Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie) and Kimye (Kim Kardashian and Kanye West) and makes certain celebrities the latest #RelationshipGoals. Still, just like regular relationships, stars are not exempt from heartbreak. In fact, they are probably even more prone to it considering they live their romance in the spotlight whether they want to or not.

But thanks to social media, we’re able to see the fallout of relationships play out right in front of our eyes. Many of those instances make us want to grab our popcorn and tune in to who will clap back next; and that’s not even considering if there’s another man or woman involved. Khloe Kardashian has gotten the laugh with her ex-husband Lamar Odom so much that she is nearly the epitome of an ex who can get revenge. The two were going strong and totally in love until they went their separate ways, which completely shocked fans. Those who watch E!’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians saw the downward spiral of what was once an amazing relationship between Kardashian and Odom after Odom struggled with drugs and alleged infidelity. While Odom might be interested in getting the last laugh, it’s certain that Kardashian has. She came out with a book about her struggles called Strong Looks Better Naked and even has a new show called Revenge Body in which she can help others have a sexy transformation after a breakup (or just to prove someone wrong) just like she did. As far as her love life, she has never lacked since her split with Odom. Now, she’s dating Cleveland Cavaliers star Tristan Thompson.

Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s divorce caused a wave of sadness in the community. The Latin lovers were married for ten years and called it quits not too long after she delivered their twins: Max and Emme. But Lopez and Anthony both moved on; Lopez started dating one of her much younger background dancers, Casper Smart (if dating a younger man isn’t getting the last laugh, I don’t know what is), while Anthony moved on and remarried Shannon De Lima, the same year he and Lopez went their separate ways. It might have seemed then that Anthony won the battle in that round. But it might be safe to say that Lopez won the war. She and Anthony had a performance together at the Latin Grammys back in November of 2016, but the issue is that it ended with a kiss. Anthony filed for divorce from De Lima about a month later. The kiss of death, maybe?

Amber Heard

Amber Heard was the object of lots of women’s envy when she married eye candy actor Johnny Depp. But it was Heard who filed for divorce from Depp last year. And while she clearly might not have been laughing during their marriage (and she’s probably not laughing now), she has a ton of money to keep her company. She received a $7 million settlement in the divorce proceedings. The two were only married for 15 months. Of course this can make Heard look like somewhat of a gold digger, but she has expressed multiple times that she didn’t only marry Depp for his money. She even suggested that she would give the money to charity to prove it. She has yet to do so, but she said in a statement that her “credibility” is what matters to her most. Seven million might not sound like much compared to Depp’s total net worth, which is said to be $400 million, but it’s certainly more than she came into the marriage with. Now, she might be laughing all the way to the bank.

Beyonce

Okay, so even though Beyonce might have gotten the last laugh when she allegedly outed her husband for cheating with a white girl named Becky on her latest album, Lemonade, it’s not Jay Z I’m referring to when it comes to this case. It’s actually her longtime boyfriend before Mr. Shawn Carter. His name is Lyndall Locke and the two met at church (through Kelly Rowland!) when they were teenagers. They were together all the way up until Beyonce was 22. And his infidelity had lots to do with their breakup. We all know Bey doesn’t play that. Now, he’s known as the idiot who cheated on Queen Bey. Locke, who is now a chef in their hometown of Houston, said earlier this year that he regrets cheating on her. You think? “I’ll be honest — it was me that messed everything up and lost her forever to Jay Z, but I deserved it,” he said. “Who cheats on a woman as beautiful as Beyonce? Well, I am that man and it’s something that’ll always haunt me.” S-M-H.

Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt’s divorce was shocking in itself. But it was the notion that he left her for Angelina Jolie that really rocked Hollywood and fans who were rooting for them. It took awhile for her to get back on her feet in the romance department, but now she is happily married to actor and screenwriter Justin Theroux. In fact, the two will be celebrating their two year anniversary later this year. But moving on with Theroux isn’t the only thing that earns Aniston the last laugh when it comes to her and Pitt’s past marriage. Instead it’s reports that he and Jolie are calling it quits themselves now after more than ten years of being together. It was only a matter of time before Jolie learned the hard way that how you get them is how you lose them. Meanwhile, I’m wondering if Pitt has sent a “hey stranger” text to Aniston yet.

The Weeknd

Of course females aren’t the only ones who have gotten revenge or the last laugh on their exes. Recording artist The Weeknd is one of the latest celebrities who might be able to sit back and relax after the downfall of a high profile relationship. For him, it was his breakup with super model Bella Hadid that landed his persona life all over headlines. While it seems like it was pretty amicable, it looked like there was a possibility they would get back together after they flirted during his performance and her strut down the catwalk at the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Still, it was clear that there’s probably not a chance that there would be hope for the two when he was spotted going around town with her friend, Selena Gomez. They tried to hide their relationship at one point but it was a little difficult after they were seen making out together. He is definitely wrong for that one, but it doesn’t mean he didn’t get the last laugh.

Taylor Swift

She has gotten revenge on all of her exes pretty much. How? By writing songs about them. From "Bad Blood" to "I Knew You Were Trouble," rumor has it that Swift gets inspiration for her songs thanks to her relationships that went awry. The star, who has a new boyfriend pretty much every year, has dated a plethora of famous guys from Harry Styles to Conor Kennedy, whose grandfather is Robert F. Kennedy. While it might look like Swift is the common denominator in all of these failed relationships (okay it more than looks like it), she has definitely gotten success off of it. But who’s really surprised? She’s been singing about someone else’s boyfriend since she belted out “You Belong With Me.” If she doesn’t have a guy, she certainly has nearly a dozen Grammy Awards to keep her company if she gets lonely.

Ciara

Okay, so no one was really surprised when Ciara and Future called off their engagement. The timing probably could have been better considering it came shortly after she gave birth to their first child, named Future, together. But that was just the beginning of their ugly split. They went from planning a wedding to an ugly custody battle over the child. Future clearly had an issue with Ciara’s new relationship with Super Bowl winner and Seattle Seahawks quarterback, Russell Wilson. He went as far as blasting Ciara for bringing Wilson around their child. But Ciara clearly won that battle when an adorable video of baby Future calling the NFL star Papa Russ went viral. On top of that, Future’s social media rants led to Ciara suing him for $15 million, all while she’s planning a wedding with Wilson. The two tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in London and recently announced they’re expecting their first child together. Sorry, Future.

Karrueche Tran

So the breakup between Karrueche Tran and Chris Brown was definitely a public one. At one point it looked like Brown was always going to win every battle with his now ex-girlfriend, even when they were dating. Let’s do a quick recap: when Brown and Rihanna recorded the remix to "Birthday Cake"and Rihanna took a shot at Tran in the song, and then there was the time Rihanna admitted to none other than Oprah Winfrey that she was still in love with Brown despite his relationship with Tran. Now, that did end with Tran and Brown taking a break but they got back together — just as it was revealed that Brown had a secret daughter who was nine months at the time. That was enough for Tran to call it quits for good. Fast forward to now, Brown has gone rogue when it comes to trying to get Tran back. He yelled her name in a song and isn’t ashamed to let the world know he wants her back. But it’s too late and she clearly isn’t interested.

Kim Kardashian

So when it comes to Kim, it’s safe to say she’s gotten the last laugh in her relationship with Kris Humphries (he was arguably the worst liked player in the NBA after his 72 day marriage with Kardashian) and even her past with Ray J. But it’s her old relationship with Reggie Bush that is the topic of the conversation here. The two were going strong on E!'s Keeping Up With The Kardashians and long before that until they split, reportedly because he didn’t want to get married. But then he moves on with and marries a woman who looks just like Kim! What’s even more interesting is that his daughter looks just like North West. Kim has clearly moved on with her husband Kanye West. As for Bush, he’s accused of cheating on his wife and getting another woman pregnant. It’s not surprising if Kim is giving him a good side eye laugh right now.

Safaree Samuels & Meek Mill

His breakup with Nicki Minaj made headlines after the two were together for 15 years. There was even some speculation that they were secretly married. Safaree Samuels has gone pretty far in his attempt to be known as more than Nicki Minaj’s ex-boyfriend, but he’s also made it clear he’s a big part of why she’s such a success today. He’s even suing her in a multi-million dollar complaint because he wants to get a piece of the pie he says he helped cook. On top of that, Nicki moved on with Meek Mill. There is said to have been some type of overlap with Meek and Samuels possibly dating Nicki at the same time. But now Meek and Nicki have broken up and word is Meek is the one who spilled details to rapper Remy Ma when she made her now infamous "Shether" diss track against Nicki. Let's just say she revealed TMI about Nicki’s butt shots.

Calvin Harris

The only guy who possibly flipped the table the tables on Taylor Swift when it comes to her writing about her exes is Calvin Harris. He gave her a taste of her own medicine when he released “My Way” shortly after their split. The lyrics stating, “Why wait to say, at least I did it my way… Like awake, two faced.. But in my heart I understand, I made my move and it was all about you… Now I feel so far removed.” The timing of this is awfully convenient. But Harris has insisted he wasn’t taking shots at his ex. Instead, he said he wrote it three years ago and got the inspiration for it when he left his job at the Safeway grocery store. Interestingly enough, Harris also came for Swift in a Twitter battle when it was revealed that Swift helped write “This Is What You Came For.” He told Swift, “You Need Someone New to Bury Like Katy.” Ouch. Fight for your rights Cal.

Iggy Azalea

Iggy Azalea’s world seemed to crash down when her now ex-fiance Nick Young was outed for cheating on her. While he was able to shut down those rumors, it was a little more difficult to deny that he had a child on the way with his ex-girlfriend. That was more than enough for Iggy to leave him for good, despite them living together and all that jazz. Interestingly enough, the woman, Keonna Green already had a child with the NBA player and had no shame in sleeping with him despite his engagement to Iggy. But the drama comes even more after Green claimed they were high school sweethearts. Well it looks like she was actually the other woman and a girl named Carol Rodriguez is the one who first went with Young. Either way, Iggy is probably sitting back, eating popcorn, glad she dodged that bullet. I know I am.

Big Sean

Big Sean and Naya Rivera were one of Hollywood’s It couples back in the day. They were engaged until things went left and she accused him of stealing from her via Twitter. Interestingly enough, she went on and got married to Ryan Dorsey, reportedly on what was supposed to her and Big Sean’s wedding day. Rivera even blasted Big Sean for two timing her with his next girlfriend, Ariana Grande. Well, those two didn’t last for too long. And now Big Sean is accused of stealing singer Jhene Aiko from her husband. They came out as a couple after releasing their Twenty 88 album together, despite Dot Da Genius revealing he and Jhene had a private and small wedding ceremony just months before. Meanwhile, even though Rivera and Dorsey welcomed a child together, she and Dorsey called it quits after two years. Big Sean might be the common denominator, but he’s certainly getting his mack on.

Jordin Sparks

Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo were another popular Hollywood couple. But they ended things after years of being together. And while Sparks has kind of been laying low for the most part, I’m willing to bet she got the last laugh out of her breakup with the singer. For starters, she revealed that the car he actually got for her while they were together was a lease. So there was this big uproar about that. On top of that, Derulo ended up moving on years after with a woman named Daphne Joy, who was clearly out of his league. Still, I think the assumption might have been that she is the type of woman he wanted all along. Well she ended up breaking up with him and he pulled a Taylor Swift and wrote about it. In a similar situation as Iggy, Sparks is most likely thanking the Heavens above she’s not involved in his drama.
