We’re all in need of being entertained and inspired. Wrestling companies understand this concept and its characters are all fun and relatable. Their fights, although scripted, give us storylines that include hope, loss and victories that its fans await with much anticipation. Just like any artist or athlete, a wrestler works for the fans and aims to inspire and offer them excitement. They represent something in all of us when they take each blow, throw each punch or fly off a steel cage, and even though we all know the fights are choreographed, some of these shows have almost ended in tragedy. Although they have a variety of safety measures in place in the WWE today, that doesn’t completely stop accidents from happening and these are just a few incidents where lives were almost the cost of entertainment.
