A rookie year in wrestling is pivotal for many stars. It’s the year that they break into the business, try to make a name for themselves, and attempt to quickly rise on the roster. Pro Wrestling Illustrated releases the coveted Rookie of the Year award annually. In the past, we’ve seen winners like Kurt Angle, Randy Orton, and Ric Flair.
