If you are going to make a name for yourself as a professional wrestler, it definitely helps to be extremely good looking. Thankfully for the 20 women below, that is something that is undeniable. But what is also undeniable for half of our list, is the fact that their “puppies” (as Lawler would say) have grown into “dogs” and it definitely didn’t happen because they ate their vitamins and said their prayers.
For a large majority of our list, you could even make the argument that it was their good looks and not their talent that kept them hanging around in the ring.
You may also be surprised at the flip side of our list when we look at 10 former WWE Divas who haven’t added an artificial chest to their list of finishing moves. But as you’ll hear from Brie, that doesn’t mean Vince hasn’t tried to get her to go bigger!
In many cases we have quotes from the women themselves, giving insight on their decision to either go bigger or to rock their natural look.
Now just sit back and relax as we scan decades of WWE history to bring you the 20 women below.
20. Enhanced – Jillian Hall
Prior to getting her start in the WWE, Jillian Hall was competing on the independent circuit under the name Macaela Mercedes and certainly did enough to capture Vince’s attention. But when she got signed, she underwent a physical transformation that saw her undergo extensive surgery to enhance certain features.
She then got the fantastic storyline (eye-roll) of her breast implants starting to leak into her brain and as a result made her crazy. Perhaps this is what happened to the writer who came up with the idea? Then again, she also had the storyline where she had the hideous mole on her face that was eventually eaten by the Boogeyman.
19. Real – AJ Lee
AJ Lee worked hard when she came into the industry that she was going to be talked about for her skill and perhaps awesome fashion statement, and not the fact that she did not have artificially enhanced breasts.
She talked about her original goals in a past interview, “At first, I picked lots of polka dots and plaid fabrics since it was intriguing to me to utilize something not traditionally feminine or attractive. My thought process was ‘let’s see if I can succeed while being as innocent as possible.’”
Lee also went on to say that her main goal was to be able to move comfortably, covering up the goods, while also giving young women outfits that they could potentially cosplay at home.
18. Enhanced – Ashley Massaro
Ashley Massaro may have had to work hard in the ring to make sure her assets didn’t accidentally get a public display, but she was more than happy to let her clothing hit the floor when she posed in Playboy.
Massaro recapped the story, in a past interview including the executive who’s first words were,
“We want her exactly as she is, we don’t want to alter anything. We want to leave her piercings in, we want to leave her tattoos un-airbrushed. We want to leave her as she is,” leading Massaro to think, “When I heard that, I knew right then that I definitely wanted to do it. That’s the first time a magazine has been more than supportive.”
17. Real – Becky Lynch
Fans were concerned earlier in 2016 when Becky Lynch, then SmackDown Women’s Champion, missed two weeks of action for what was an undisclosed health issue. Lynch spoke out about the situation later saying that she had something removed, but that she was all good now.
One thing that wasn’t removed was her implants, as it definitely looks like this Irish lass has not had any other part of her enhanced. It’s not like Lynch doesn’t already look gorgeous, and when you hear how often she works out it’s not like she has time to get any work done!
Besides, even if she did we wouldn’t be surprised if you got distracted by her amazing hair!
“The red hair is less about Irish, and more because I always wanted orange hair ever since I saw The Fifth Element, and there’s a bit of steampunk in there. But obviously it is synonymous with Ireland and I’m so proud of where I came from,” said Lynch in a past interview.
16. Enhanced – Torrie Wilson
Torrie Wilson is well aware that when she took to the ring, that her chest was always going to garner a great deal of attention saying in a past interview,
“My chest pops out quite a bit. I use half a box of double-sided tape every time but these suckers do not want to stay in.”
You can imagine it is a constant struggle for these women to both look amazing in the ring, but also making sure that their boobs don’t decide to go roaming out of their outfit. One thing is for sure, Wilson still works incredibly hard for her body (augmented or not) and we are sure her confidence has helped inspire many other women.
15. Real – Bayley
Bayley is one of several women that are coming through the company at the moment and are being praised for not only their good looks but their incredible ability in the ring. It’s a responsibility Bayley takes seriously, saying in a past interview,
“Trying to help mold the next generation or the next crop of girls that are going to be taking over the division—that is my goal. We’re fighting to make us all equal.”
Wise words coming from someone who is well worth listening to, especially when you consider Bayley is a former NXT Women’s Champion and the current Raw Champion. While Bayley has plenty of attractive features on her, perhaps you love the fact that she doesn’t seem to be artificially enhanced.
14. Enhanced – Nikki Bella
When Nikki Bella was making a name for herself in the WWE, it was alongside her twin sister Bella. Sadly, that “twin gimmick” tended to get thrown to the wayside when Nikki Bella elected to significantly enhance her chest!
When talking about the decision to go bigger, Nikki said, “On my time off I went and got my own set of ‘Twin Magic’. If the Bella Twins weren’t enough, I wanted my own twins.”
While you may not be able to look at Nikki without blushing, you may also find it interesting to hear that on her first date with John Cena that she was so nervous that her sister was teasing her and calling her Hot Cheeks.
13. Real – Paige
It can be easy to think that Paige obviously made a great first impression with the WWE. After all, not only did Paige win the Divas championship in her first match but in doing so she was the youngest champion ever at 21 years old. But in a past interview, Paige admitted how she originally tried to package herself to the company,
“I tried to be tanned, I tried the color, I tried taking out my piercings. I tried to be a very girly girl, and I wasn’t me, and I wasn’t confident with it.”
Paige went on to say, “It really helped that I came along and I stuck to my guns and was like, ‘No, they’re going to see the real me’. I was happier – I looked happier because I was being me.”
Part of Paige’s confidence is loving her body, which she has said is all natural including back in 2015 when she took to Twitter to say, “Ladies and gents. Here’s a confession…It’s just a really good push up bra.”
12. Enhanced – Eva Marie
Eva Marie may have come to WWE’s attention when she joined the company in 2013, but her artificially enhanced chest has been around for a lot longer than that! Back in 2015 when appearing on Total Divas, Eva Marie admitted to her husband Jonathan Coyle that her breast implants that she got when she was 20 years old were starting to cause pain.
It led to the two going and seeing a doctor who confirmed that her implant had in fact ruptured and would require surgery to fix. Had Marie not got the surgery, several complications, including some that could have been life-threatening, could have occurred.
Marie was suspended in 2016 after violating the company’s wellness policy, but we can only hope that she will be able to clean herself up as we are sure she could have a huge impact on how the rest of 2017 looks.
11. Real – Alexis Bliss
The WWE Women’s division is continuing to have more appealing names appear on a regular basis and one of the brightest stars is absolutely Alexa Bliss. Making her debut in 2016, Bliss has already taken home the SmackDown Women’s Championship on two separate occasions and is absolutely a force to be reckoned with.
But for Bliss, one of her toughest battles is not in the ring, but in front of a mirror. When attending school at the University of Akron, Bliss struggled with anorexia and dropped from 120 pounds down to 80. She thankfully had the foresight to get help, but in a past interview said,
“It’s not like, ‘Oh, you’re cured of anorexia.’ You’re never healed. You live with it the rest of your life. It’s not a sprint. It’s a marathon.”
10. Enhanced – Gail Kim
Gail Kim was an incredibly promising wrestler in the WWE, but sadly she came around at a time in which the women’s division was not being pushed nearly as strongly and legitimately as it is now. As a result, she perhaps felt more comfortable with TNA where she also spent several years of her career. Thankfully she worked things out enough with WWE to return for a few more years, but it’s the TNA Hall of Fame that she’s inducted into.
But if we’re talking about Gail’s most prominent asset, you may be drawn to her chest. What you may be shocked, is how many times she’s injured her implants!
“I’ve ruptured my implants, five times…it looks pretty funny, the first night I didn’t know what happened, I just felt this pain in my armpit and the next day I went to the gym and I looked in the mirror and I looked in the mirror and said ‘Why do I look so flat on one side!…Oh my God..it is gone!'” said Gail in a past interview.
9. Real – Brie Bella
You aren’t going to be able to get through this list without getting a taste of both sides of the Bella action. While Nikki elected to go bigger, Brie most definitely is comfortable rocking out at the size that she was given naturally.
But don’t think that means that the WWE hasn’t tried to convince her otherwise!
“They talked about my breasts. I didn’t have big ones…They asked if I would allow them to pay for me to have a boob job,” said Brie in a past interview.
She went on to say, “I literally stood on stage and I was looking around like, what? They were like, well you guys don’t have breasts. I’m like, I’m so confused what’s going on right now. But you know, they’re making TV.”
8. Enhanced – Chyna
If you want any proof of how different the WWE was during the attitude era, I’ll help remind you of how the world got introduced to the fact that Chyna had her chest size boosted upward.
Shawn Michaels took to the ring with Chyna and Triple H in tow, before announcing to the crowd that there were 2 new members of DX and then shoving the camera firmly in Chyna’s chest before saying, “She is not only the toughest woman in the world wrestling federation, but she is now the Breast damn woman in town.”
7. Real – Maria Kanellis
Maria Kanellis was one of the many WWE Divas that were able to catch the eye of Hugh Hefner and in 2008, she dropped her clothes and posed for the cover of Playboy. Along with the racy photos, Kanellis also gave an interview that provided several raunchy details including the fact that she is most definitely all natural.
When an interviewer asked if her real chest plays a role in wrestling, Kanellis responded, “Well, they move a little bit more — the “Tiggers” like to bounce around. So when I’m in the ring I have to tape them in a little more than the ones that just sit there.”
Kanellis also admitted her eyes were her favorite feature but went on to say, “I would definitely say my [chest] because it does make me happy that I don’t have to wear a bra and I’m good to go. They’re all natural.”
6. Enhanced – Sable
When Sable was making a name for herself in the wrestling industry, women definitely were not exactly getting hired for their in-ring abilities. Which means that when Sable got hired, she made it clear to Vince that because she had her chest artificially enhanced three years prior and had no wrestling training, that she would be unable to do any maneuver that caused her to fall on her front.
You can imagine any injury to the chest area, much less a chest area that was as prominent as Sable’s would be sure to cause some damage!
Sable’s time with the company was far from being free of controversy as following her release in 1999, she sued the company for $110 million citing sexual harassment and unsafe working conditions. She was able to patch things up and they settled out of court, leading to her return a few years later, but we’re sure she has caused Vince plenty of sleepless nights for all the wrong reasons.
5. Real – Stacy Keibler
Stacy Keibler has always stood out from the competition, literally as she is 5’11” and is well-known for her long legs. Despite finding success in WCW for her sexuality, (including the nickname “The Legs of WCW”) Keibler was still incredibly worried that she was going to have to alter her appearance when WWE signed her in 2001.
“When I came to WWE, I felt certain that I’d have to get breast implants because some of the other girls did have them. But J.R. [WWE TV commentator Jim Ross] told me, ‘You don’t need that to get ahead here. You have a natural beauty’,” said Keibler in a past interview.
That being said, Keibler has definitely not shut down the idea of implants in the future, “It’s something I might do for personal reasons. I don’t know. I’m pretty confident that I don’t need to do anything like that now to get more fans.”
4. Enhanced – Trish Stratus
Trish Stratus spent a great deal of time during her WWE tenure kicking ass, but we’d be lying if we didn’t also say she looked damn good while doing it! One of Trish’s most prominent areas definitely seemed to be artificially enhanced, even if Stratus has never come out on the record and said as much.
The biggest evidence we have, beyond you know, being able to just look at her, is the fact that reports came out in 2008 that she had undergone surgery to have her implants removed.
3. Real – Kelly Kelly
While some women may find themselves getting offended when they are asked if their chest is natural or fake, it is definitely not a question Barbie Blank (known as Kelly Kelly) shies away from. In a past interview when she was asked if she was real or fake, Blank responded,
“I’m not ashamed of it. It’s all real. I love getting that question because I’m like, ‘Yes they are and I’m so proud.'”
Blank certainly has plenty to be confident of, including a resume that includes appearing on the cover of Maxim, as well as being ranked #38 out of their top 100 in 2012.
2. Enhanced – Stephanie McMahon
Stephanie McMahon may not get quite as physical in the ring as some of the women on our list, but there aren’t many women on here (if any) who have gotten more screentime than Stephanie over the years.
Which is why it was perhaps understandable that when Stephanie elected to increase the size of her chest back in 2001, Chris Jericho was quick to make a joke at her expense on an episode of Raw is War
“It seems like our little billionaire princess sure has grown over the last year! Well, in two specific places at least! Talk about foreign objects — you wanna say let the bodies hit the floor? I would say let the boobies hit the floor!”
Stephanie has since talked about her decision to switch up her chest size, saying in a past interview,
“What had happened was, at one point in time I was heavier and then I had lost some weight and I didn’t like the way I looked and I wasn’t confident in how I looked. And so it was my own personal decision to have that done and I was proud of what I did.”
1. Real – Cameron
Cameron may have been let go from her WWE contract in 2016, but she has hopes that she will one day work her way back into the company. If not, she’s comfortable stepping away from wrestling to focus on an acting career, saying in a past interview, “I look at myself and I value myself at a certain level, and [if I can’t return to WWE] I want to keep it that way.”
While Cameron may have failed to make a huge mark in the ring, she did gain a fanbase partially for her time on Total Divas. One of her more prominent episodes came when she elected to not get her breasts artificially enhanced.
When talking about the experience in a past interview, Cameron said,
“I mean I think no matter if you are a woman or if you are male, we all have something about us that we would like to change, you know, and I just feel like this is how we were made and I feel like you should embrace that.”
