A good friend of his, Alex Guerrero, who also happened to be his body coach was accused of fraudulent activity by the Federal Trade Commission. Apparently, he was marketing “miracle drinks” which turned out to be nutritional hogwash like so many other companies out there. These drinks were being promoted as a means of helping people with cancer and heart disease yet they were nothing of the sort. He was eventually fined $65,000 for his activities. The scandal affected Brady in a huge way as Guerrero was working at the Patriots facilities. Brady denied any knowledge of the fact that the “miracle drinks” were fake and misleading.

14. His Relationship to Gisele Bundchen Got Off to a Rocky Start

When Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady got together, everyone thought it was the start of a new relationship even though it seemed a little fast after Brady had just broken up with his longtime girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan. They broke up in 2006 just before Christmas according to Bridget, and then People magazine linked Bundchen and Brady together and claimed they "started dating right before Christmas." So, at the end of the day, it appeared as if he probably saw Bundchen before his relationship ended with Moynahan. Then the news came out that Moynahan was pregnant which caused Bundchen to rethink whether she even wanted to stay in the relationship any longer. We’re not sure if Gisele was jealous or not, but it turns out that Tom Brady has a funny nickname for his teammates. He calls them “babe.” It’s true; he revealed this weird fact during an interview in 2012 with ESPN. It’s actually more funny than anything, but we have to admit, it is a little weird. Most people who address their buddies would just respond like, “Hey man, how’s it going?” Not in Brady’s case, of course, he’ll just say, “Hey babe, how’s it going?” I wonder what he calls Gisele as a nickname? One of the biggest scandals of 2016 was the breakup of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. The cause of their breakup turned out to be an affair he had with the couple’s nanny Christine Ouzounian. So what does this have to do with Tom Brady? Apparently, during one of Affleck’s alleged hookups with the girl, which included a trip to Las Vegas, Brady was on the same private jet. There were even pictures of the nanny wearing Super Bowl rings that belonged to Tom Brady while on the plane. Uggs have been popular for some time now, and people either love them, or they hate them. Typically, it’s women who are obsessed with the footwear, but Brady has his own obsession with them as well. He has received a lot of hate for wearing the footwear and is often heard defending himself. No big surprise that this whole scandal came as a shock to everyone in the world. No one would have thought Tom Brady would be involved in such a douchebag move. As if it wasn’t shocking enough for Gisele who got to see her man in a whole new light but it also happened around the time that Affleck’s nanny pictures were revealed by Page Six. Oops! The guy just couldn’t seem to catch a break. There were rumors going around that Bundchen was considering a divorce. People assumed she was just threatening him while she denied any talk about divorce. "I think we have been through a few tough times together. I think that's when you know who are your friends and who loves you. 9. He Has an Extreme Diet

There is no doubt about it that both Brady and Bundchen have insane bodies, after all, Bundchen was a supermodel for many years, and her body has stayed lean even into retirement. Despite that, however, you wouldn’t really expect a man like Brady, who undergoes intensive training for football to be on an extreme diet. But their diet was published by The New York Post, and it included 80% percent of vegetables and whole grains with the remaining 20% being fish. They use olive and coconut oil to get their fat intake, but the worst part is that their household has no white flour, sugars and they even avoid certain fruits such as strawberries. Tom Brady does the meal plan because he believes it will allow him to stay in the sport longer. The New York Post had a dietitian chime in on the diet and was told that it was “sketchy.” It’s no doubt a little extreme, and I didn’t see ice cream anywhere on it; I would feel sorry for anyone who wanted to have dinner with the couple.

8. He Hates Pranks

Oftentimes you will hear about how cast mates on movies will play pranks on one another, and it all seems to be in good fun, but it’s not just on movie sets where these things happen. There was a time that some of Brady’s teammates pulled a prank on him, and he was pissed off with them. Matt Light and a few other teammates got together to place peanuts in Brady’s Lexus. It wasn’t just a few peanuts either, the teammates got a bunch of industrial size bags of peanuts and filled the car to the brim. Considering the way their household handles sugar, there is no big shock when you hear that they restrict Halloween candy in the house. But it’s Halloween! True but Brady and Bundchen already have a strict diet as well as a no sugar policy in their house. They have a certain approach to Halloween than most households do. Bundchen explained the approach during a People magazine interview, "We don't really have that kind of sugar in our house. I let them try one [piece], but they really only had one bite, and then they didn't want it anymore. So I told them if they didn't like it I was going to give it away to other kids and they actually let me give their candy away." I’m not buying it, but Bundchen went on to say, "It's a little different kind of sweets, so they're not used to it. I said to them, 'You know, there are so many kids that don't get candy, and you guys got so many, some kids don't even get one! And they're like, 'Oh mom, okay you can give it to them if they don't get any.'"

Although Brady and Bundchen have been adamant that they are not Trump supporters there are a lot of people who disagree. At the very least the two seem to be good buddies. The two have had a friendship that dates back 15 years. The Daily Beast reported that the two met when Brady performed as one of the judges at a Trump beauty pageant. The two bonded at the event and became fast friends. During a locker room interview, Barstool Sports took a picture of Brady in front of his locker. They zoomed in on the fact that there was a “Make America Great Again” hat resting in his locker. That’s one of many reasons why people thought that Brady was a Trump supporter. The photo caused a lot of controversy and Brady defended himself saying that the hat was just a keepsake given to him by Trump.

Apparently, Brady does some unusual things to get his wife’s attention, one of which is acting like a child. Oh boy! As if that’s not bad enough, he's constantly looking for new ways to get her attention. "She's on to me… so now I have to learn new tricks."

4. He Won’t Autograph an Ugly Picture

Tom Brady has some serious standards when it comes to photographs of him, so much in fact that he will refuse to autograph a picture if he thinks it’s ugly. We aren’t talking about his face or his body; no Brady has high standards when it comes to pictures of his performance. If you show him a picture of a bad throw, he just won’t sign the picture. There was an incident where someone tried to get an autograph during offseason, but Brady refused to sign it. “I don’t want that one — look at my mechanics.” It came as such a shock because Brady presents himself as a kind-hearted fellow. But at the end of the day, it’s his right to turn down an autograph just like Justin Bieber often turns down taking selfies with his fans. As far as Brady was concerned he's trying to “protect his legacy in a positive light,” and we certainly can’t judge him for that.

3. His Bodyguards Were Charged with Manslaughter

Celebrities can get pretty extreme when it comes to protecting their privacy, especially when it comes to their wedding day. Some celebrities choose to sell their photos of their big day while others go to extreme measures to ensure the paparazzi doesn’t get one photo. On Brady’s wedding day he hired two bodyguards to keep photographers out of the wedding. Whether they were ordered to use whatever means necessary or not, is up in the air but at some point in the night, both were arrested. When paparazzi arrived at the wedding, the bodyguards fired at them, and although no one was hurt it was a pretty serious situation. They did, however, hit the SUV’s windows that the photographers were driving. The bodyguards were fined $10,000 a piece and were charged with manslaughter, serving a five-year sentence each. That’s insanity when you think about it. Why would bodyguards feel the need to shoot at photographers?

2. He Wasn’t in The Room When His Son Was Born

A lot of people gave him a lot of flack for not being in the room when his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan had their son. I’m on the fence about this one; on the one hand, you wonder why he would let her do it alone while on the other hand, she is his ex…and he has a new girlfriend. He did, however, get to the hospital when the baby had arrived. Moynahan told E! “He was not in the room. He was there on that day and came in afterward. He certainly wasn’t holding my hand while I was pushing.” It kind of sounds like Bridget wanted him to be. The son is now nine years old. Many people expected Brady’s son to want to be a football player just like his dad, but it turns out the kid doesn’t want to be one. “I think right now he wants to be a professional soccer player. Though after the Olympics, he’s like, ‘I think I’m gonna win gold in swimming.’ Then it was Michael Phelps, so I think he just likes awards.”

1. He Dreams of Fresh Socks

We can see why that is, imagining what the socks must look like after those football players take them off their feet after a game is enough to give anyone nightmares. Brady once had a talk with his best friend Aaron Shea about his dreams. They are such good friends that Brady was asked to be the godfather of Shea’s child. They were discussing their dreams one day, and Shea mentioned how he wanted a Ferrari and a Hummer. Although those are good things to want to attain, Brady had other things in mind. He told his friend that he just wanted fresh socks. He wanted never to wear a used sock ever again, just put on a brand new pair of socks every single day. Considering how much Brady and his wife make, that’s certainly a dream that could realistically come true.
