Ever since Kim Kardashian’s sex tape was “leaked,” the world became utterly fascinated with her and the entire Kardashian clan. When the reality TV series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians first premiered in 2007, audiences got to know each member of the family and the hijinks they get into when they’re not on the red carpet. When Kim had trepidation over whether or not she wanted to pose for Playboy, it was actually her mother, Kris, that encouraged her to do so. Since she’s so busy managing the appearances and endorsement deals, she didn’t seem very hands-on when it came to raising the younger children. Yet, the lack of morals and neglect weren’t the worst of the accusations against her mothering skills. Rumors have circulated over whether or not Kris has been both physically and verbally abusive to her children. In 2014, InTouch magazine reportedly found claims of abuse in personal diaries kept by her ex-husband, Robert Kardashian. Videos of Kanye West receiving the news while on stage surfaced online and he could be seen running off the stage due to a “family emergency.” Just hours after the robbery, Kim fled on a private jet and returned to the States. However, rumors began surfacing as to whether or not this was an inside job and just a scheme for her and Kanye to cash in on the insurance that was filed on the jewelry. Kanye had reportedly been going through some financial troubles and the public has been quite decisive over the fact that Kim will undoubtedly do just about anything for wealth and fame. MediaTakeOut was the first to come out with accusations that the robbery was fake but after threats of being sued, they made a public apology and retracted their story. The rumor of her “staging” the robbery was indeed quite hurtful to the Kardashian family, especially since the details surrounding the robbery were extremely shocking.
