Kanye West’s financial problems are continuing to mount, but it’s not only his net worth that’s suffering. According to reports, his Yeezy brand was recently evicted from their office after falling behind on rent.

The rapper rented the 15,000 square foot office space back in 2015 in Calabasas, California. Not only did the space house the headquarters for his fashion brand, but it also functioned as a recording studio and design spaces.

However, Kanye was significantly behind on rent payments. He reportedly hasn’t paid rent in two months, totally to a backlog of $63,254.

CT Calabasas, the company that owns the office space, has reportedly threatened Kanye’s business with eviction if the debt isn’t settled. Kanye was apparently sent an eviction notice on December 13th threatening legal consequences if he doesn’t pay up.

"Within three days after service of this notice on you, you must pay the amount of said rent in full or quit said premises and deliver up possession of the same to the authorized agent for your landlord," the notice stated.

"If you fail to pay or quit, legal proceedings will be instituted against you for possession of the premises, forfeiture of the agreement, and for monetary damages as may be allowed by law,” it continued. “You are further notified that by this Notice the Landlord elects to and does hereby declare a forfeiture of said Lease if said rent is not paid in full within three (3) days."

Kanye has faced financial fallout in the wake of his recent behavior, which has included anti-Black and anti-semitic comments.

His controversial antics led many brands to cut ties with him, including Adidas, which had a years-long partnership with Yeezy that was bringing in billions per year. After Kanye was dropped by Adidas, Forbes reported that he lost his billionaire status. The publication says he went from $2 billion to $400 million net worth.

The fashion designer is also facing a slew of lawsuits, including from former employees who claim workplace harassment and discrimination. He’s apparently already made several payments to ex-staffers over related allegations.

One of the biggest lawsuits Kanye is facing is a $250 million defamation case filed by the family of George Floyd, following false statements Ye made about his death.

Despite his financial troubles, Kanye was recently ordered to pay his ex-wife $200,000 in child support for their four child. The exes also agreed to a final division of their assets, though neither will pay spousal support.

Kanye and Kim negotiated their divorce proceeding for nearly two years after the reality star filed for divorce in early 2021.
