10 People Who Got Busted For Posting Erotic Content Online

via parismatch.com / via twitter.com

People have many different fetishes. Some people like feet. Some people like excessive pilosity. And some people, bless their souls, like to post their sex lives all over the Internet.

Occasionally in amateur adult entertainment, the participants’ faces will be left out. These are the cautious flashers on Chat Roulette and those who post videos from the neck down. But surprisingly often, faces are included. Although this could be because they want their video to perform better — we as viewers can only tolerate total anonymity – there is also the possibility that they want to be recognized. Small talk at the water cooler becomes intensely more interesting when someone has seen another with his or her pants down.

But, for an unfortunate few, posting videos online got them into trouble. Whether they were fired from their job or hunted down by the local police, what started off as a sexy kick became a whole, unforeseen world of trouble. Read these as cautionary tales if you want, because these are impulses that many might have (they are not, in every case, completely sordid), but that acting on could bring trouble.

We tried to keep the cases mostly self-posted videos, but stumbled upon a couple of interesting stories involving pictures or things associated with people and so included those, too.

10. Woman Busted for Live Sex Cam Show in PUBLIC LIBRARY

Operating under the username “lilsecrett”, a woman in Windsor, Ontario posted numerous videos of herself performing indecent acts in libraries around the city. D’Asti, a police sergeant associated with the case, says that there also appears to be a video of the woman doing her thing in a Tim Hortons. Her account was on a website called My Free Cams and has since been terminated, because the company has a strict policy against its users posting any public videos. Unfortunately for lilsecrett, that was her bread and butter. The police working on her case say that she has been pleasant and cooperative.

Kendra Sunderland, a 19-year-old student from Oregon State University, posted a 31 minute clip on an adult entertainment website of her pleasuring herself in the crowded Valley Library in Cornvallis, Oregon. In just a few days, more than 260,000 people had viewed the video. It was slingshot around furiously on social media. The Oregon State Police finished by arresting Sunderland on a charge of public indecency. Some people were outraged and some people were offended, but most people were impressed that she managed to film 31 consecutive minutes of smut in a library crowded with her vigilant peers.

A couple of culturally insensitive Canadians on vacation in the island nation of Malaysia were arrested on obscenity charges for posting a nude pic of them at the top of a sacred mountain, considered to be the resting place of the spirits of the dead. They were two among a larger group of people, two more of whom were arrested for the same reason. The picture shows them completely bare naked, but covering their private parts with cupped hands. They insisted on taking the picture, despite protestations from their tour guide who knew it would land them in trouble.

The principal and the guidance counselor at Granby Memorial Middle School in Connecticut did not plan on getting caught for posting gory videos of sexual nature from their studio Moongoyle Entertainment online. Although there’s nothing illegal about doing this, the two men involved were temporarily suspended. The principal resigned, probably due to an irreparable loss of trust but also intense, searing embarrassment. The guidance counselor returned to work after the suspension ended. The man, it seems, believes wholeheartedly in freedom of speech. They shut down Moongoyle Entertainment and now apparently make comedy under a different name.

6. Rihanna BANNED From Instagram

Rihanna is known for her provocative ways. Her latest effort, the “B**** Better Have My Money” video, shows her dragging her accountant’s wife on a sordid field trip. So it’s not extremely surprising that Rihanna would get banned from Instagram for posting some overly sexy (read: nude) pictures. In April of 2014, Rihanna posted the topless and bottomless pictures from her shoot with the French magazine Lui. The photo-sharing app flagged the photos, telling her that they violated the terms and services for users, then blocked her account. In November of that same year, after a 5 month absence, Rihanna returned.

Penny Dane, a Florida police Sergeant for seventeen years and a mother of two, was caught sending hundreds of sexually explicit images, some of which showed her posing in uniform on the job. The investigation found hundreds of pictures on her two work computers, as well as frequent use of a virtual sex website Red Lights Center, an adult-only 3D virtual environment. The woman admits that she failed to lead or supervise her subordinates because of the amount of time she spent on her profiles. She was discovered after she launched a sexual harassment complaint against her supervisor.

The men in these photos were security contractors working at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, the capital city of Afghanistan, in 2009. Following the release of the photos, the Project on Government Oversight (POGO, for short) wrote a letter to then-secretary of state Hillary Clinton discussing the hazing rituals of the guards, telling her that they did things like eat potato chips off of each others’ bodies, simulate sex, and lick each others’ bodies. This cohort of guards was subsequently fired and replaced with a new one. Obviously it was not intelligent for them to make a public mockery of the American government.

A high school band teacher in Ohio resigned after her double life as an online adult entertainer was exposed. Kristin Sundman taught at the Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent. Before her resignation she posed for several adult websites. In her videos, she appeared on her own, occasionally in the shower, and she also sometimes appeared with other women. After it was discovered that she was making sexy videos on the down low, Sundman resigned. As soon as that happened, the school dropped the investigation.

An anonymous employee of the Swiss Parliament, called “A.” in the press, was suspended from her job at the Federal House in Berne for tweeting naked selfies from a private twitter account. After she got caught, Swiss newspaper Neue Zuercher Zeitung asked her after the debacle had taken place whether she was worried that her coworkers would find her online smut (her twitter account had 11,700 twitter followers) and she said that it was constantly on her mind. A.’s account was regularly updated, so it’s a bit of a marvel that she went so long without being caught.

1. US Airways Accidentally Tweets A Pic of Woman With PLANE in Her PRIVATES

In 2014, US Airways accidentally responded to user ElleRafter’s twitter complaints by posting a pic of a naked woman with a toy plane lodged in her privates. Presumably what happened is that whoever was in charge of maintaining the company’s social media presence that day went to report the picture (the toy plane has the logo on it) and inadvertently posted the link into the apology to ElleRafter’s. Although the picture was only up for an hour, it was screenshotted for eternity, and the incident inspired a litany of hilarious vaginal air travel jokes (including calling the company UterUS Airways.)
