When Melissa McCarthy goes into one of her all-out, no-holds barred, cussing and name-calling routines, it is beyond hilarious. The movies in which she provides these lighthearted comedic bits are generally a hit and one has got to believe that these potty-mouth scenes are partially the reason. McCarthy can keep an audience rolling on the floor until the tirade's very last utterance has been spewed. We have to wonder if this is a natural part of her personality or if she is simply a potty-mouth savant who is gifted.

We've learned there are quite a few celebrities who have exceptional potty mouths, as well. However, the celebs we are about to show you have day-to-day potty mouths and not just during the times they are playing a role in a television show or movie.

Remember the voice mail that Alec Baldwin left for his daughter? Expletives galore made it sound so much more evil than it might have come across without.

Anyway you cut it, the public does not like to hear their favorite celebrities being angry, mean or rude to others. Baldwin was lucky, he had a hit series to keep him in the public eye favorably. However, some of the others that we're about to reveal were not so lucky and, some of them simply enjoy the sport of swearing.

Knowing you might expect Charlie Sheen, we left him off and are revealing many we think will surprise you.

12. Adele

It was only a couple of years ago when Adele admitted to 60 Minutes that she loves to curse like a sailor. After having throat surgery and not being able to talk for a while, she looked for an audio-to-text app. In the same interview on CBS's 60 Minutes, the Grammy winner revealed, "I love to swear. Most of the [apps] you can't swear on, but I found this one app where you can swear, so I'm still really getting my point across."

11. Gordon Ramsay

Host of Hell's Kitchen seems to love the f-bomb and uses it at every opportunity, with few exceptions. The exceptions, we were hoping, were when he is working around the very young contestants - ages 8-13 -  who are on MasterChef Junior. Well in 2013, one contestant, 9-year-old Sara, overheard Ramsay tell interviewers that even though he swears in front of older contestants, he has never done so in front of the younger set. She immediately spoke up and corrected him by telling TODAY he had slipped twice.

10. Mel Gibson

Radaronline.com released the exclusive audio recording that pretty much brought Mel Gibson down. In an argument with his Russian pianist lover, Oksana Grigorieva, Mel was less than civil. His attitude and behaviors were definitely considered questionable after his comments such as these:

Oksana:" You’re acting as a crazy man right now and you have been for many, many months. And you hit me, and you hit her (Lucia) while she was in my hands! Mel, you’re losing your mind. You need medication.”

Mel: You need a f*cking kick up the a** for being a b*tch, c*nt, gold digging wh*re! With a p**sy son! And I want my child, and no one will believe you! So f*ck you!”

If this is the way he talks to the mother of his child, can you imagine how he interacts with those he doesn't like?

9. Kristen Stewart

According to a story by Perez Hilton, a couple of years ago Kristen Stewart was seen blowing a fuse while being taped by paparazzi. She was leaving a building, nothing particularly unusual, and when she saw the photogs just waiting, she went off. The f-word came out in a well-deserved series that was caught by X17, Inc. Perez suggests in his blog that Kristen may have been coming from seeing Robert Pattinson kissing another woman, but as far as we know, it is hearsay.

8. Christian Bale

The year was 2009 and the place was the set of Terminator when Christian Bale was recorded belting out a tirade toward the director of the film, Shane Huribut. Little did he realize the recording would go viral and not just on the Internet. The tirade was played on radio stations, television programs and more. The tirade included profanities, name-calling and threats. Bale told the media, days later, that he found his behavior inexcusable and made a public apology. He also said that he and Huribut worked things out the same afternoon as "the incident".

7. Sally Field

Who would have thought Sally Field, of Flying Nun fame, would have such a potty mouth? Well, when Field was accepting her Emmy in 2007, the producers had to have her bleeped. She was in the process of pronouncing her disgust with the U.S. involvement in Iraq when she used the word "goddamn", which the FCC later determined did not need to be censored. Fast forward to 2014, when she won a curse-off against Julia Roberts on Jimmy Kimmel's Celebrity Curse Off.

6. Julia Roberts

Julia Roberts is not typically known as a potty mouth actress outside of her movies. However, since she was heavily involved in Jimmy Kimmel's Celebrity Curse Off, we wanted to include her. She was definitely in the amateur category, particularly when butt-hole was nearly the most vulgar thing she could come up with. However, with Sally's professional cursing abilities as a guide, we hope Julia has improved.

5. Gisele Bündchen

Supermodel and wife of the Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had about enough during the Superbowl in 2012. The woman totally supports her husband and was not about to let the Giants fans continue their heckling without saying a word. The shouters wouldn't let up and went after her husband in particular. After a few minutes Gisele's patience ran out and she popped back with a few f-bombs in retaliation to those around her, but smiled thinly all of the way to keep up appearances.

4. James McAvoy

In 2014, the X-Men actor was allegedly said to have lost it when two 18-year-old girls wanted him to pose in a photo. In all fairness to McAvoy, he was in the process of celebrating a friend's birthday at Earl Haig Hall in London. The girls approached him out of nowhere and he immediately went into yelling, "get the f**k out of here". Apparently, these young girls will never forget what they thought was their lucky moment, as McAvoy repeated this lovely phrase about five times.

3. Megan Fox

Megan is a beautiful, petite actress who has a potty mouth that makes Sally Field look like a nun. She speaks her mind whenever asked, which is one of the reasons she was taken off (fired from) the cast of the last Transformers film by none other than Steven Spielberg. Fox had publicly dissed director Michael Bay called him a Nazi, according to the Washington Post. She is known to have a potty mouth and was quoted in 2014 as throwing caution to the wind again regarding consumer feedback on the latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, "Let me tell you something about those people. How much money did Transformers 4 make? Exactly. Those people can complain, they all go to the theater. They're gonna love it, and it they don't love it, they can f**k off, and that's the end of that." She makes no apologies for who she is and what she says and people love her.

2. Amy Schumer

She is a stand-up comedian, which gives her a little more latitude in acceptance than most actors. She was the fourth place winner on the fifth season of the Last Comic Standing (NBC) and came in second on Comedy Central's Reality Bites Back. Well, thanks to this comedian, you can now say p***y on the air on Comedy Central. The argument that made way for the change is that the word "di*k" had been authorized as a-okay and Schumer got to be the first one to say p***y on the air.

1. Jason Bateman

In an interview with GQ, Jason Bateman admitted to being a curse word enthusiast. People like that usually see it as a sport and really enjoy uttering every single cuss word in as many places as possible. Variety in curse words makes the whole thing more enjoyable. In the same interview, Bateman says he never swears around his oldest child but does a bit around his youngest as she doesn't understand.
