Stuart Hughes, Liverpool jewelry designer famous for his exclusive version of diamond iPhone 4, MacBook Air platinum and gold iPad 2 unveiled his next master piece.
Hughes newest masterpiece, iPhone 5 is worth € 10 million or $13 million is by far the world’s most expensive phone. It took Stuart 9 months to finish the whole process. What makes it so expensive? Well its housing is made of 24-karat gold, the “Home” button made of black diamond weighing 26 carats, the Apple logo boasting 53 diamonds and iPhone 5 ends decorated with white diamonds.
The super-expensive smartphone was designed by Stuart to a Chinese businessman, the owner of the same black diamond.
In 2009, Stuart used 271 grams of 22-karat gold and 136 flawless diamonds to create aniPhone 3GS. It took him 10 months to create the whopping 3.2 million phone.
The embedded Apple logo was made of 58 diamonds, roughly about 1 carat. The phone’s case is gold while its navigation button in front of the iPhone was made from a rare seven-carat diamond.
In 2010, Hughs’ polished iPhone 4 with Diamond Rose edition. The diamond rose limited edition was price at $7.99 million. The extra costly 32GB smartphone included an approximately 500, 100 carat diamonds around the sides. A rose gold Apple logo with 53 more diamonds and the center navigation button made from a single cut 7.4ct pink diamond.
