LaFerrari: The beast is finally here!

Hell is empty, and all the devils are here, particularly 499 devils. Production of this particular car will be extremely limited, this time to just 499 cars, even though the company received over 700  requests to buy. Ferrari will be selling this beat at a million euros, and the price won’t change until the end of the year.  Buyers will be able to get the three traditional paints of red, black, and yellow – but will be also be able to get any color they choose, and even a two-color unit.

The new LaFerrari hybrid car is uncovered on the Ferrari stand during the first media day of the 83rd Geneva Car Show at the Palexpo Arena in Geneva

Design aside, many of you are wondering how fast this beast can fly. It performs beautifully as it goes up to 62 miles per hour in under 3 seconds, and 124 mph in less than 7 seconds, with a top speed of 217mph, this car is insanely fast!

With a powerful V12 engine that has an F1 like altering geometry air intake system, and a main shaft with aerodynamic counter weights almost 20% lighter than before.

It’s not easy to outdo the 288 GTO, F40, F50, and Enzo. LaFerrari is the latest in collector cars; its innovative sexy look and evolutionary performance rate is a dream for most motor enthusiasts. It’s not as audacious as the Enzo, and it has some stunning elegance about it, a successor the Ferrari guys will be proud of for many years, and perhaps even generations from now.

While Ferrari has originally relied on Pininfarina to design almost everything Ferrari since 1951, the exception to the rule is LaFerrari, the newest supercar to unfold designed exclusively inside the Ferrari company.

Ferrari Chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo did not give any mention of stopping business with Pininfarina, he actually stated: “There is nothing from Pininfarina in this car, but we are working with them on two other models, which I hope will come to market soon,” The chariman also mentioned at the Geneva unveiling: “We chose to call this model LaFerrari because it is the maximum expression of what defines our company: Excellence,” Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo told reporters at the Geneva début. “LaFerrari is the finest expression of our company’s unique, unparalleled engineering and design know-how.
