This is Collé’s latest project. It is located on a 1.56-acre property. It includes an 8,000-square foot home that has 10 bathrooms and seven bedrooms. The home boasts of a library, a kitchen with a butler’s pantry, and a family room. The lower level of the house contains a wine cellar, a gym, a playroom, and it can accommodate two more bedrooms. The outer part of the house contains a heated gunite pool, numerous screened indoor and outdoor areas, and a covered porch. It is also one of the oldest houses in Water Mill. This historic structure, price of which is still to be determined, can be used as a guest house.
18. Wainscott Main Street
This property has been sold for $8 million. This traditional two-story home contains six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. It is approximately 6,800 square feet. It has a spectacular ocean view. It has a pool house, detached garage, full outdoor kitchen, and a heated gunite pool. It also boasts of soaring ceilings, a 400-square foot screened in porch, a 400-square foot mahogany decking on the second level with an additional 2,400-square foot limestone decking, and a 400-square foot covered porch.
Beechnut Hill Farm
This estate located at the enclave of the Water Mill costs $25 million. This 18,000-square foot property sits on a 42-acre parcel of land. It boasts of an expansive lawn, six-stable horse barn, and seven bedrooms. It features shingle style architecture and used materials like solid mahogany, French and Turkish limestone, and Carrara marble. It includes some modern touches like the use of a geothermal HVAC system and an open layout.
The Pond House
This 12,000-square foot property costs $30 million. It is a grand expansion of an art studio that was originally designed in the early 20th century by the American architect Stanford White. It boasts of six bedrooms, 18th century fireplaces, a 30-foot high great room, a pool, and a terrace made of Turkish limestone. Collé tried his best to retain the original structure but he also rotated the house 90 degrees to take advantage of the Georgica Pond view.
