For The Rugged Man: The Best Trucks Of 2014

Trucks are more than just a means of transportation for many Americans. Trucks are the status symbol of the manly man and are designed for both power and luxury. Despite being known as heavy fuel eating machines, they hold a special place in the hearts of the people who own them and are essential to the American landscape. They are more useful now than ever in the winter season, as the roads get unpredictable and icy. Four wheel drive can come in handy when trying to escape the ditch, and a big truck has an added protection from being injured in an accident. If it’s truck verses car, the truck will win every time.

In 2014 trucks are getting more economically friendly but that doesn’t mean your wallet wont suffer when you purchase one of these new bad boys. Car companies are competing for the most luxurious and powerful truck, to combine work with play. Either way these trucks will be worth a second look on the road, regardless if they are used for pulling trailers, carrying heavy cargo or simply being used as a family friendly vehicle. The luxury high-end models account for one third of sales last year. Luxury trucks are getting bigger and better in the next year, with hand stitched leather and high technology features becoming standard in trucks, when it previously had only be found in high end luxury cars and SUV’s.

The trucks of today have extended cabs, making them comfortable to sit more people. The single row seating is quickly becoming a thing of the past. They are becoming more convenient for different types of people to enjoy making them a popular luxury vehicle choice. Just don’t be surprised at the price tag, with all the high-tech gadgets included, most luxury trucks start out at $45,000 and higher. Even with the price tag, the feeling driving any of these luxury trucks down the road will be worth it to any luxury vehicle enthusiast.

Prices are based on the 2014 sticker price on all the vehicles as they are expected to remain the same, with the exception of the 2015 F-150.  Ford has announced it will cost about $1, 500 more because of changes made to the newer model.  Official prices will be announced closer to Fall 2014, before the new vehicles go on sale.
