All child stars have at least two things things in common— they’re cute and loaded. Regardless of whether they grew up, and went to pursue other ventures like the Olsen twins, or stayed in the business of filmmaking or music like Natalie Portman and Taylor Momsen, kids could always make quite a buck in entertainment.

Their childhood may have been more effortless or even happy, but the Fanning sisters, Chloe Moretz, and a slew of other established names did well for themselves money-wise, starring in TV shows, movies, as well as ads. And for a lot of them, the never-ending work opens up completely different doors in the world; those of fashion houses or even the UN’s.

With even TV show salaries reaching five and six figures, a 6-year-old can make in a week what his middle-class father or mother makes in a month or two. And if your kid is talented and lucky enough to pass auditions for the big screen productions, his or her net worth can amount to a few millions over a short period of two to four years.

Move over Ashley and Mary-Kate, this new generation of child stars is already amassing millions, securing their place in the spotlight for their future.

15. Ruby Barnhill, 12 - There Is Potential

Ruby Barnhill was a regular unknown child just until last year when she starred in a lead role in Steven Spielberg’s The BFG. It was reported that the girl got $85k in the contract, but she could score $650k in combined earnings from her Dreamworks contract.

Even though the movie didn’t make quite a splash or catapult Barnhill to fame as it happened with Drew Barrymore after E.T., there is still potential. Besides, she appeared in only two projects so far, another one of which is a comedy TV series called 4 O’Clock Club.

So far, this little girl’s resume has a big hefty name attached to it, so it is only a matter of time and applied effort till we see more of her on TV or a big screen.

14. August Maturo, 9 - $9,261/Week

Child actor August Maturo started his acting career at a tender age of 4. His impressive filmography states that he appeared in How I Met Your Mother, playing Lily and Marshall’s baby boy Marvin Eriksen at age six, as well as in Bones. He also had a role in a TV movie Applebaum, which was his professional debut.

In 2014, he scored a continuous role in the series Girl Meets World alongside Ben Savage as his on-screen dad, and a salary of $8-cool-K a week with a promise of a raise (to $9,261), if the show gets extended (which it did). TV actor in his own right, Maturo can also boast appearances in such titles as Weeds, Dads, Raising Hope, and Suburgatory.

13. Rowan Blanchard, 15 - $210,000 Combined Earnings

Maturo’s on-screen sister Rowan Blanchard signed a $10K/episode deal for Girl Meets World two years ago, which for 21 episodes amounted to an impressive $210,000 of combined earnings. It’s probably a bigger sum now that the show was renewed for more seasons. A movie based on the series could potentially bring the teen another $150k.

Blanchard started her acting career at just nine, appearing alongside J-Lo and Hawaii Five-O’s Alex O’Loughlin in The Back-up Plan. Her most notable role is, perhaps, that of Rebecca Wilson in 2011’s Spy Kids, where Jessica Alba and Joel McHale play her parents.

Besides being active in her profession, Blanchard is making waves on a social scene, posting opinions on issues ranging from LGBTQ rights to feminism to the #BlackLivesMatter movement.

12. Abby Ryder Fortson, 8 - $20,000/Week

Abby Ryder Fortson may be cute as a button, but she earns like not many grown ups can. Her Togetherness contract alone pays $26,787 per weekly episode. And she also appeared in Steven-Spielberg-produced The Whispers, Transparent, and Marvel movie Ant-Man, starring awesome Paul Rudd and Judy Greer. That’s an impressive acting resume right there.

Little Abby had a professional moment with her actor parents John Fortson and Christie Lynn Smith on Rated, where the three played a family. Her mom also appeared in House, CSI, and Dexter, while her dad played in Days of Our Lives and The Perfect Guy.

Amidst the roles in serious drama and superhero films, the young Forston appeared in a few million dollar ads alongside The Rock that ran during the 2013 Super Bowl.

11. Millie Bobby Brown, 12 - ~ $200,000>

If you aren’t recognizing Millie Bobby Brown, it’s either because she has hair or you still haven’t watched the super cool Netflix horror show Stranger Things. While it's not disclosed how much exactly she got paid for her role of Eleven, her fellow actor Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers, and barely appeared on the show raked in $50,000 for five episodes with a promised salary of $20,000 per episode for Season 2. So it’s safe to assume that Brown, who played in each episode earned something around the same or maybe even more.

With her rising popularity and acting chops, Millie generates enough interest from agencies for her dad to demand $100,000 up front for the right to just represent his talented daughter.

In the meantime, Brown enjoys attention from such fashion publications as W Magazine and Interview.

10. Jacob Tremblay, 10 - $200,000

Another buzzworthy child star, amounting cash along with critical acclaim, is Canadian Jacob Tremblay. He won the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Young Performer for his performance in Room, the movie that won Brie Larson her Oscar, and was also nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role.

So far, Jacob's net worth is estimated around $200,000, which isn't bad, but it’s nothing compared to what awaits him. With over twenty awards and nominations for his role of Jack Newsome alone, Tremblay will soon be amidst young millionaires.

So far, his infamous 2015 role has landed him lots of work in both TV and cinema, including a 2017 drama Wonder, starring Julia Roberts.

9. Skai Jackson, 14 - A Six Figure Sum

Best known for her role of Zuri Ross in the Disney Channel sitcom Jessie, Skai Jackson is a TV actress with a sense of style many grown ups could learn from. She must be making at least somewhere around ten grand a week. Aside from that, she also appeared in one episode of that Zendaya show called K.C. Undercover, and reprised her role of Zuri Ross in Ultimate Spider-Man animated film.

Jackson made big news this May by engaging in a Twitter feud with controversial Azealia Banks. Ten years her junior, the young actress schooled the singer on manners and reputation after the latter tweeted a racist and homophobic message at Zayn Malik, accusing him of being a copycat.

The youngster later explained that she believed Banks was behaving like a bully, and her tweets were racially charged, which made it not okay.

8. Sterling Jerins, 12 - Probably Seven Figures

Sterling Jerins may not have been on your radar, but the young star is not only earning a big buck but she also gets to act out her roles alongside such big names as Brad Pitt (in World War Z), Charlize Theron (in Dark Places) and Gerard Butler (in Geostorm). Her resume is packed with star-studded films, and the projects only keep piling on. Since she mostly does movies, it's safe to say that her earnings come in six-figure sums.

In one of her latest films called Daisy Winters Jerins takes a dramatic role of an eleven-year-old on a journey trying to find her father after a bond with her mother is broken alongside Brooke Shields. Heavy stuff. But that’s why they pay six figures for movie roles.

7. Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, 8 - $1,000,000

A comedian, Amy Anderson put her entire life on hold to support her 8-year-old daughter Aubrey Anderson-Emmons on the set of Modern Family.

When she got the role back in 2011, Aubrey was just four years old. Now the little star earns somewhere around $25,000, or probably even more per episode, while her mom homeschools her while also sitting on set.

Although she didn’t really play anywhere else before her TV gig, Aubrey is destined for an acting career, if she wants it. The girl beat all the others who came for audition without having any experience.

When the series was nominated for an Emmy, Aubrey was the youngest actress to tread the red carpet in both 2012 and 2013. By 2014 and 2015, she got it all figured out with her SAG Awards win and nomination.

6. Levi Miller, 14 - $1,000,000 Or So

With a role in a multi-million dollar flick and a contract with Ralph Lauren children's wear, you can be sure Levi Miller did well for himself already. One of his projects is scheduled for 2018 and two others are coming out next year; the kid has officially made it.

Filming Joe Wright’s Peter Pan film was quite an experience as well. Miller got to learn from a dialect coach to get a hang of a Cockney accent, cry on cue, and waltz. That last one was taught to him by a rising actress herself, fashion model Cara Delevingne. Hugh Jackman and Rooney Mara were also on cast. No biggie.

Levi also walked a Ralph Lauren show in Central Park Zoo, and appeared in an episode of Supergirl. His next big experience will take place in A Wrinkle in Time next to Chris Pine, Reese Witherspoon, and Zach Galifianakis. Rowan Blanchard is listed among the cast, too, but her role is yet unclear.

5. Max Charles, 13 - Millions

Unlike many of his peers, Max Charles started his acting career with a grown-up hit HBO show True Blood. Since then he’s worked tirelessly to put titles like Three Stooges, The Amazing Spider-Man, and American Sniper on his resume, taking it a bit slow in 2013. You can bet his net worth is in sizeable seven figures.

His later work is all TV, though. He’s been a voice of Davy Crockett as well as random characters on Family Guy since 2012. He also played Harvey Beaks in the show by the same name, and lent his voice to Kion on The Lion Guard.

For now his job is secured through part of 2017 with his role of Zach Goodweather on the horror series The Strain, where he works alongside the House of Cards star Corey Stoll.

4. Abraham Attah, 15 - A License To Print Money

With his role of a child soldier in Netflix’s Beasts of No Nation Abraham Attah got something a little more precious than a hefty paycheck— worldwide critical acclaim that generated him enough attention to become a part of Spider-Man: Homecoming and The Modern Ocean, that has the weirdest star cast ever consisting of Keanu Reeves, Anne Hathaway, and Daniel Radcliffe.

The kid from Ghana did a hell of a job next to Idris Elba in Beasts of No Nation, so much so that he got a Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor at the Venice Film Festival, Black Film Critics Circle Rising Star Award, Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead, and Ghana Movie Awards Best Actor in a Leading Role and Discovery of the Year among other awards and nominations. It’s hard not to get a gig with that kind of a start.

3. Mia Talerico, 8 - $2,000,000

Tiny and cute Mia Talerico is a millionaire in her own right with a net worth of 2 cool mill. The Good Luck Charlie darling has begun her career very early, but now seems to be taking it slow. When the Disney show introduced a lesbian couple, even little Mia got death threats the police had to investigate.

After the show was cancelled, Mia did a couple of shorts, taking 2016 off. As her Instagram shows, Mia’s having what most child stars lack— a normal childhood with roller skating, trick-or-treating, and, of course, school.

She still gets a dose of limelight whenever she attends an odd premier, but it’s clear the little star hangs low to enjoy the simple things that make a kid’s life so fun and carefree.

2. Ty Simpkins, 15 - A Few Millions

Another kid who's doing pretty well for himself is Ty Simpkins. This little boy has been working his entire life, starting on One Life to Live the same year he was born. Never really stopping even for school, Ty played little kids on War of the Worlds, Little Children, and CSI. His later works are a little more notable titles like Iron Man 3, Jurassic World, and The Nice Guys, starring Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling.

The kid got a sweet $200k base salary for Jurassic World with a promise of a $125k bonus, and a $400k salary for the sequel, which from the looks of it, is happening. And that’s just one movie.

Aside from TV and film, Ty voiced three Lego games, accompanying the Avengers and Jurassic World.

1. Quvenzhané Wallis, 13 - $3,000,000

Quvenzhané Wallis is the quintessential child star. She was born the same year you probably started school or bought an Evanescence album. At nine, she was already nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress thanks to her role in Beasts of the Southern Wild (2012), for which she beat 4,000 kids in an audition. At 11, she received a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical for her work in the remake of Annie.

Her net worth is $3,000,000, but there’s definitely more where that came from. Quvenzhané who is now 13 also made an appearance in Beyonce’s music video Formation, while her latest work in Trolls aligned her with such household names as Gwen Stefani, Justin Timberlake, and Zooey Deschanel.
