Maybe he still has enemies from his days in the drugs trade because he now lives in a Connecticut mansion formerly owned by Mike Tyson where he spends $20,000 a week for security services alone.

Still, that money may be recovered because Chelsea gets to compete regularly in European competitions that bring in a lot of revenues. Abramovich’s big spending can better be reflected in the way he deals with his food craving. He fancied sushi while he was in Azerbaijan. Not finding any place that served decent Japanese, he ordered £1,200 worth of sushi from Ubon in Canary Wharf and had it flown by private jet to Azerbaijan. Total estimated cost was an astounding £40,000.
