When it comes to celebrities, many people are under the assumption that they all live in big mansions in Hollywood or Beverly Hills. 15. Nicolas Cage, Vegas
The famous actor is known for City of Angels, Con Air and Gone in 60 Seconds, among many others. Cage started off acting in teen comedies such as Valley Girl, Rumble Fish and Fast Times at Ridgemont High. In a recent rumor, there was speculation about Cage and Lisa Marie Presley getting back together. An unnamed insider told the National Inquirer that “Lisa Marie and Nic have both regretted what happened to them. They want a do-over.” Other sources insist that the rumor is untrue, and Cage and Lisa Marie are not getting back together. So we’ll see. Nic moved to Las Vegas from Los Angeles to keep himself away from the paparazzi. His life now is much simpler in comparison.
14. Vanilla Ice, Florida
The “Ice Ice Baby” rapper and reality star has his own TV show on DIY home flipping. Recently, he finished the first season of The Vanilla Ice Project and the Green Monster house was a highlight on the show. Since the house was in such bad shape, it was apparently surprising that the work was completed and that interior designer Krista Watterwort, didn’t advise that he get rid of the house. “I’m surprised that Krista didn’t suggest selling, or giving back the giant fake ruins of an airplane fuselage in the back yard, so they couldn’t buy all the furniture they wanted,” the former rapper said. By the time the house was completed, the suggested market price was $1.6 million. In the early 1990s, Vanilla Ice rose to fame with “Ice Ice Baby”, followed by “Ninja Rap.” He claimed the title of the first white rapper to be on top of the pop single chart. The man also known as Robert Van Winkle, lives in Palm Beach County, FL, as a real estate investor.
13. David Spade, Arizona
Throughout Spade‘s career, he starred in films such as Senseless, Lost & Found and Joe Dirt. He was close friends with Chris Farley in the 1990s while on Saturday Night Live, until tragedy struck and Farley passed away due to a drug overdose. This left Spade completely distraught and he chose not to attend the funeral. In 2014, he explained why he didn’t attend the funeral; he said, “I think about him all the time. We had such a good time for so long and we were crammed together for so long that we did have our squabbles. It was nothing about that. It was just too emotional and I wouldn’t be able to handle it.” The actor and comedian now lives in Scottsdale, AZ, and has been there most of his life, since he was 4 years old. He attended Saguaro High School and later on, he graduated from Arizona State University with his Bachelor’s degree.

In 2006, he began to appear on popular mixtapes, particularly the “B—- I’m from Dade County” alongside Dre, Trick Daddy and Trina. That same year he was signed to Atlantic Records where he released “Low” featuring T-Pain. The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 and the following year, he released the R.O.O.T.S album which featured the hit single “Round.” Flo Rida is currently on tour and will be visiting Prince George, Canton, San Jose and El Paso, to name a few. Once the tour ends, Flo Rida will escape back to Florida. The rapper, also known as Tramar L., owns a nearly 7,000 square foot home in the Southwest Ranches in Fort Lauderdale, the same neighborhood as The Rock.

Mike Tyson recently joined the cast of Public Disturbance which is a prank comedy-adventure series alongside Skyler Samuels, Amber Stevens, Joey Lawrence, Bobby Lee and the Janoskians. The Janoskians are a Los Angeles based YouTube comedy group with Daniel Sahyounie, Luke and Jai Brooks, and Beau Brooks. The group has successfully gained more than 200 million views on YouTube and have 20 million loyal followers. In Public Disturbance, the Janoskians plot a scheme to hijack a birthday party of a well-known media mogul’s daughter so they can organize the biggest public disturbance in history. After selling his home in Paradise Valley, AZ for $2.4 million, Tyson purchased a home in the mountainside town of Henderson, NV, outside of Vegas.
10. Flavor Flav, Vegas
Flavor Flav is known for Flavor of Love, The Surreal Life and Strange Love. He is also known for the group Public Enemy. His role in the group became compromised due to his addiction to crack and cocaine. He was also no stranger to run-ins with the law. In 1991, he spent a month in jail after being arrested for domestic violence against his girlfriend. He was locked up again in 1993 for three months after he was charged with attempted murder. Throughout most of the 1990s, Flav was mostly involved with legal issues or had some type of drug addiction. Either way, he strayed away from music. At some point, he sought help from Long Island Center for Recovery and also the Betty Ford Clinic. While he was still recovering, he appeared back on the scene in 2004 by appearing on the reality TV show The Surreal Life. In 2006, he landed his own reality show, Flavor of Love. In spite of his history, cast member, Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander, from Flavor of Love season 1 said, “I will always have respect for Flav, he changed my life.” Hip Hop artist and reality star lives in Las Vegas where he owned a restaurant Flavor Flav’s House of Flavor. However, the restaurant closed its doors after being open for just six months.

With albums such as Confessions, My Way, and Looking 4 Myself, singer Usher has seen great success. Recently, he met with local activists and city leaders at city hall. During his time there, he interacted with protestors and tried to calm things down. He is expected to perform in Malaysia, September 30 to October 2 at the Sepang International Circuit. Sepang International Circuit CEO Datuk Razali said, “This year, we are pleased to bring fans a magnetic performance by one of the best-selling artistes in American music history, Usher.” The R&B singer lives in a mansion in the suburbs of Atlanta.

Joe observed that his children had talent in 1963, and from there he decided to form a group and become their manager. Until the group got a spot at the Apollo Theater, Joe strictly enforced tedious and long rehearsals. Eventually, the Jackson 5 was signed to Motown and had their first four singles in a row land in the No.1 spot on the Billboard. Several of his kids spoke out against him claiming that he had abusive tendencies that plagued them throughout their childhood. 6. Elijah Wood, Texas
Wood is known for starring in films such as Green Street Hooligans, Back to the Future II and The Good Son. Of course, Wood became most well-known in the world of film after he landed the lead role in The Lord of the Rings, playing the character of Hobbit, Frodo. From there, The Rings film trilogy gained worldwide acclaim and devoted fans. In the recent months, Wood began promoting a new movie, The Trust, which was based on pedophilia and child stars. He came under scrutiny after making the statement, “Clearly something major was going on in Hollywood. There are a lot of vipers in this industry, people who only have their own interests in mind.” He later cleared it up by saying, “Let me be clear. This subject of child abuse is an important one that should be discussed and properly investigated. Kevin Spacey became a household name after he appeared in hit films such as The Usual Suspects, Se7en and American Beauty. He gained more popularity after he landed a TV role in Welcome Back, Kotter where he played the role of Vinnie Barbarino, and afterward, he was casted as the lead in Grease. Turner got her claim to fame in the 1960s when she performed alongside her ex-husband, Ike Turner. She hit the charts when she sang the song “A Fool in Love” which became very successful on the radio. Later on, they released the Workin Together album with the remake of “Proud Mary”, which landed a Grammy win. Eventually, Tina left Ike after suffering years of physical abuse and was officially divorced in 1978. However, when she left, she only had a gas station card and 36 cents to her name. She launched her solo career which initially had a slow start. Until her career really got its footing, she did cleaning jobs and used food stamps to survive and take care of her children. The singer gave up her life in the United States for one in Switzerland. She turned in her U.S. citizenship 20 years ago and is living in a beautiful mansion that overlooks Lake Zurich.
2. Kurt Warner, Arizona
The former NFL quarterback is currently a sports broadcaster. As a pro football player for the St. Louis Rams, Warner was a powerful asset and was recognized as MVP. Throughout his career, he threw over 200 touchdown passes and he is expected to eventually be included in the Hall of Fame. At the start of his football career in 1995, the Iowa Barnstormers of the Arena Football League invited him to play. By the Spring of 1998, he was playing in the NFL’s European League overseas. Things started to look even brighter later that year when he replaced a starting quarterback who suffered a knee injury. Warner said, “People think this season is the first time I touched a football; they don’t realize I’ve been doing this for years, just not on this level, because I never got the chance. After realizing that his football career wasn’t going to take off, Dwayne got involved with professional wrestling with his first fight against Brooklyn Brawler. Originally, he was signed to WWF with the name Flex Kavana before being named The Rock, a year later.
