She had a large security team. She and her friends participated in virtually every one of the activities – whitewater rafting on both rivers, the zip lines, Bridgewalk and lake activities.”

Many European celebrities flock to Italy for their extreme adventures, says Leo Locke, president of Donna Franca Tours. “Hiking the trails that circumvent active volcanoes on the Aeolian Islands, diving among the sharks off the coast of Sardinia, and mountain trekking at the foot of glaciers in the Alps, are just a few of the extreme adventures,” he says.
After the adrenaline levels taper off, he says they distract themselves with gourmet cuisine, fine wines, outstanding museums and the “la dolce vita” culture. Come on, you can’t be surprised to see a romantic destination like Italy on this list!
4. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda
This park lies in the southwestern part of Uganda on the edge of the Rift Valley. Known for its mist-covered hills, the Park features one of Uganda’s oldest and diverse rain forests that dates back 25,000 years. It also has an amazing 400 types of plants. But the big attraction here is the more than 300 mountain gorillas. This area is also home to 120 mammals, including baboons, chimpanzees, antelopes, elephants and birds.
