Horror movies are not everybody’s favorite kind of movies, because not everyone wants to go to sleep at night afraid of the dark. However, huge numbers of movie lovers enjoy these gut wrenching productions, and some people are even immune to all types of scares.
The best way to survive through a horror movie to the end is to remind yourself that no scene in the movie is real, those people are just acting. If you start thinking that the horrors you see on screen are real, you might end up having a hard time dealing with nights for a few weeks. However, the sad thing about some horror movies is that they are based on actual events, and there is no convincing yourself that the scenes cannot be real in those instances.
One thing that you’ll notice in almost all horror movies is that nudity and sexual scenes are in abundance, and some scenes get extremely graphic. Perhaps the producers of these movies know that the films will have strict age restrictions, meaning that in such movies anything goes because no persons below the age of 18 years will watch them.
In order to attract audiences who do not necessarily watch horror movies for the scares, movie producers and directors are allowing the excess display of women on screen. The following horror movies go overboard with risqué scenes – to the extent that some could easily qualify to be truly “adult” movies.
Here are some top horror movies with more boobs than scares. Which other movies do you think deserve to be on this list?
Thirst is a 2009 South Korean film that captivated audiences all over the world. This horror film is about a highly respected Catholic priest called Sang-hyun, who volunteers to undergo an experiment that could possibly lead to the cure of a fatal virus. The experiment goes wrong and he ends up dying. However, the blood that the priest receives during the procedure brings him back to life as a bloodthirsty vampire. Also, the priest begins to thirst after a woman named Tae-ju, the wife of his longtime friend, who he transforms into a vampire as well. This was the first South Korean mainstream film to show male full frontal.
9. Sorority Row
Sorority Row is a 2009 horror movie that is mostly famous for the its racy scenes as opposed to the scares contained therein. The movie is about five sorority sisters who hatch a plot to prank one of their cheating boyfriends, but the prank results in the death of one of the sisters. All present at the scene are gripped with fear and decide to cover up the murder, and swear never to share their secret. However, a year later when the sisters are graduating from University, someone starts killing all of them with a spiked tire iron, the same weapon that killed their sister.
8. Only Lovers Left Alive
Only Lovers Left Alive is a horror vampire film featuring two vampires who prefer to drink blood that is pure and free from infections as opposed to sucking fresh blood from a victim’s neck. The two vampires called Adam and Eve have been married for centuries, and they both have their ways of getting blood from blood banks. A murder that they cover up forces them to relocate, leaving behind all their supplies. These two have no choice but to start killing to quench their thirst. In the movie, racy scenes, especially between Adam and Eve, make this horror less about the scares and more about the hanky panky.
Teeth is a horror film that has a very interesting concept, although its box office performance was not so good. The film is about a teenage girl named Dawn O’Keefe, who is introduced to the audience as an abstinence spokesperson for a Christian group. She later falls in love with a guy called Tobey, with whom she ends up being a little too cozy. When Tobey insists on having sex with her (to the point of getting quite forceful), she bites off his member because her lady parts are lined with teeth, something odd that happens repeatedly in the film. Since the movie centers on Dawn’s second set of teeth, the scary element of the movie is far outweighed by the scenes which lead up to the inevitable amputation.
6. Zombie Strippers
The zombie horror comedy film Zombie Strippers is about a failed government experiment, which was supposed to re-animate marines who had died and send them back to fight in the numerous wars that America was fighting. The virus that is supposed to be used on the dead marines breaks from containment and infects the scientists and the marines sent to contain the situation. That leads to the strippers in a nearby nightclub turning into zombies, whether as a way to keep their customers or just for the fun of it. Stripping zombies might not be every man’s dream, but the movie ends up not having many scares at all.
5. Texas Chainsaw 3D
Texas Chainsaw 3D was the last of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise films, a film that received negative reviews from critics but great box office returns. The release of this 2013 slasher film was in 3D, but it failed to scare audiences and featured some pretty attractive women. The movie is about a lady who learns of an inheritance from a grandmother she never knew and decides to go with her friends to collect her inheritance. The only problem is that Leatherface, her psycho cousin, is also involved in the inheritance. The movie has many bloody scenes, but just as many sexy ones.
This 2009 Danish horror film Antichrist has nothing to do with the Biblical teachings of the end times, and is actually about a couple that loses their child – a situation that hurts them to the extent that they retreat to living in a cabin in the forest. The man begins to see strange visions when they are at the cabin, and the woman starts developing violent sexual tendencies and a thirst for sadomasochism. Within the first five minutes of the movie, the audience gets to witness the couple getting it on in the shower; a scene that hides nothing from the audience. There is no denying that there are some scary moments in the film, but the intimate ones tend to be much more prominent.
3. The Cabin In The Woods
The Cabin in The Woods is a horror comedy film featuring five college students looking to have a great time and a team of technicians that wants to conduct a mysterious ritual. The college students decide to spend a weekend at a deserted cabin in the woods, while the team of technicians underground manipulates the cabin technologically and alters the environment by intoxicating the students with mind-altering drugs. The students can no longer think rationally, and their libidos are on overdrive. What you can expect thereafter is a horror movie with too a lot of racy scenes and not much else.
2. Piranha 3D
The title of the movie prepares the audience for a movie with Piranhas, but it does not quite prepare the audience for the horror in the movie. Two thousand college students on spring break and in a party mood have no idea that their choice of location to go for a swim is full of piranhas, which tear a huge population of these students and other people on the lake apart within a very short period. The fact that the students are in party mode and at a beautiful lake ensures that clothing is at a minimum in this film. Also, a sleazy photographer and his actresses look for locations to shoot an adult movie, a situation that leads to even more skin on screen.
1. Vampyros Lesbos
Vampyros Lesbos is a West German-Spanish horror film released in Germany and Spain in 1971 and 1973 respectively, about a lesbian vampire. The Countess Nadine Carody is a vampire who lures victims by seducing them in order to suck their blood. Linda, who is Nadine’s next victim, begins having dreams about Nadine and she eventually spots her when she goes to her home island to settle an inheritance. There is hardly anything scary about this movie, part of the reason being that it is a very old film. However, the nudity in the movie from start to finish is far more than most of the movies produced today.
