Celebrities are not immune to making bad decisions. In fact, celebrities often make worse decisions than normal, everyday citizens. Divorce, drug addiction and gambling addictions are common problems among the high rolling elite, and even unplanned teen pregnancy can be an issue some celebrities have to deal with.
Some celebrity teen mom were famous before they got pregnant, some became famous afterwards on the strength of their career; and some, in a newer and worrying trend, joined the D list after starring on a classless reality show like MTV’s Teen Mom simply because they were a teen, and pregnant. Reality star Farrah Abraham has gained fame and notoriety since starring on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant. MTV later hired her to star in the spin off series Teen Mom; she was featured in all four seasons of the show. After appearing on the TV shows, she wrote a memoir and recorded an album, but her biggest act of notoriety came from starring in an adult film with James Deen: Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom was released last year, and the sequel, Farrah 2: Backdoor and More, was released earlier this year. She became so popular that she was the most searched reality star on Google in December 2013.
Of course, not all celebrity teen moms become famous just because they had a child at a young age and documented it for MTV. Many genuinely talented actresses and musicians have been teen moms, while other women have married young to rich and / or famous husbands and started their families relatively early. Here, we’ve taken a look at 10 of the youngest celebrity teen moms (who’ve never starred on Teen Mom!).
