Most of us will admit to being avid fans of many of Hollywood’s most famous celebrities. It’s hard not to fall in love with their perfect acts of decency and charity when they are all we read about – but not so commonly known are those celebs who have erred on the side of rudeness one too many times for forgiveness. These people are beautiful, rich and famous, all aspects that we strive for. We tend to forget that they are in fact humans and people do make mistakes.
Celebrities are trained and coached on how to act in public and how to behave during interviews, most have all of their answers rehearsed. This is why it is shocking to see top celebs blurting out nonsense when they know millions of people are watching. We can all recall a few interviews that showcase celebrities responding rudely to an interviewer, or even acting out while on camera.
With all the training in the world, it must be hard for some to behave appropriately all the time, and when you are a star, people are always watching.
Take a look at ten sexy celebs that need to think before they speak;
10. Miley Cyrus
Sadly, Miley isn’t such a darling anymore and despite making her edgy, and somewhat controversial look work for her, it’s harder to ignore her many public indiscretions. Miley can’t help but get the media talking as she kisses her fellow celebs (we’re looking at you Katy Perry) and openly disses those around her. She attacked Selena Gomez’s classically beautiful selfie on Instagram in January. Gomez uploaded the sexy picture accompanied by a sultry pout and plenty of cleavage, and not long after, Cyrus uploaded a selfie of the exact same pose claiming that Gomez was fishing for more followers, by saying “Do yiew tink if I push muah tit*ies up I’ll get mo followahhhzzzz?” The ex-Disney queen really needs to take a lesson on manners.
9. Kim Kardashian
Most of us are constantly up-to-date with every move the Kardashian sisters make and would admit to following Kim and Kanye‘s relationship with a little more than eagerness. While Kim never fails to speak positively of her family onscreen, it seems she didn’t expect private emails to her mother to be exposed publicly. In the email Kim wrote about Kris’ red carpet choices; “I love u mom but no more pilgrim adams family outfits.” As if this wasn’t bad enough Kim went one step further to offer her mother some more fashion advice saying “You have exhausted this look.”
While it is true that Kim knows what it takes to look flawless, surely there’s a better way of offering advice than saying “We need chic tight dresses, not this omish sh*t anymore.”
8. Justin Bieber
It’s impossible to discuss celebrities and their attitudes without stumbling across Justin Bieber at one point or another. It’s no secret that Bieber has frequently been late to his own concerts and openly ignored fans on many occasions, however equally as insulting is Bieber’s tendency to diss his fellow artists on stage. This began back in 2013 when Bieber dissed Eminem in Detroit by covering Lose Yourself and messing up the opening lines of palms are sweaty to palms are heavy. It’s a small mistake but his attitude continued right up until Bieber was heard gloating about hooking up with Miranda Kerr, while the model was still married to Orlando Bloom. This added flames to the long-term feud between Bieber and Bloom. While Kerr seems to be full of nothing but praise for the young singer – “He was really sweet, really charming” – we doubt Bloom feels the same.
7. Gwyneth Paltrow
Gwyneth Paltrow began to crawl her way to fame with minor roles in movies such as Hook and Shout but now she is an Academy Award winning actress with a weekly newsletter on her lifestyle website Goop. While Paltrow has talent beyond compare, she is described by some as highly pretentious and downright rude. Her own co-workers have called her “unappreciative and inconsiderate” stating that she “expects too much of her staff”. One source went so far as to call the working environment at Goop “toxic”. Paltrow has not responded publicly to these accusations but her history of pretentious in interviews leads us to believe it. Paltrow has been featured many times in the media in recent years for her insensitive comments, and responses to fans.
6. Kanye West
Perhaps the least shocking addition to our list is the notoriously famous singer Kanye West. When people think of public indiscretions and Kanye, most will think of the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards when Taylor Swift became the reason for the term ‘Kanyed’. No one is forgetting that in a hurry, however, if we’re to look at Kanye’s track record, he has a lot more against him than just that. He made an almost perfect repeat performance of that infamous night at the 2015 Grammy’s when he just about let Beck finish. He rushed Beck’s acceptance speech for Album of the Year to save the day and remind everyone of who the true winner should have been (unsurprisingly); Beyoncé. He stated that Beck should have given Beyoncé the award and “needs to respect artistry”, but thankfully refrained from grabbing the mic from Beck, which is a lot more than Taylor Swift got. Controversy was caused at the 57th Grammy Award Show as Kanye gave an interview to E! after the ceremony, continuing to prove his point. He had this to say; “At this point we tired of it because what happens when you keep on diminishing art and not respecting the craft and smacking people in the face after they deliver monumental feats in music, you’re disrespectful to inspiration.”
5. Adam Richman
Adam Richman grew up in New York and began his love of food at an early age by documenting the stand-out restaurants and diners he would visit again. He rose to popularity as the host of Man Versus Food but has recently been making headlines for all of the wrong reasons. A moment none of us will forget swiftly was when the Travel Channel host, threw a serious tantrum on his Instagram account which sparked uproar from fans. None of us will say that it didn’t start innocently, Richman simply posted a picture of his weight loss journey – with the dangerous hashtag #thinspiration. What is so dangerous may not be obvious to most and certainly not to Richman, but the word ‘thinspiration’ or ‘thinspo’ is most commonly used on social media sites in pro-eating-disorder circles. Richman made the awful choice of telling one Instagram commenter to “grab a razor blade and draw a bath. I doubt anyone will miss you.”
4. Jason Biggs
While the 36-year-old actor is undeniably talented, many agree that he has an odd craving for attention as he never fails to find new ways to annoy his followers. Biggs is easily one of the most loved Orange Is The New Black stars, yet this didn’t save him on Twitter when he made a very insensitive joke. Shortly after the Malaysia Airlines plane crash in summer – which no one will quickly forget – Biggs tweeted; “Anyone wanna buy Malaysian Airlines frequent flier miles?” Thankfully his fans replied appropriately to his insensitivity which sparked anger from Biggs who called anyone who said it was ‘too soon’ for such jokes,”a**holes.”
3. Lea Michele
Despite singing like a goddess and becoming an unforgettable asset to Hollywood, it has been reported more than once that Lea Michele has always acted like a diva, from the beginning of her role on Glee, when she truly came into fame. Recently there has been talks that her fans seem greatly unsatisfied with the singer who often refuses to sign autographs – the most memorable of which was fourteen-year-old Hailee Steinfeld who burst into tears after the encounter. Some may excuse this behavior as a reaction to the death of boyfriend and fellow Glee star, Cory Monteith, but inside sources say that Michele has never truly had manners. A professional blogger at Crushable who used to work in an unnamed New York restaurant has admitted that Michele was difficult to serve as she harassed her servers and ridiculed a waiter when he attempted to explain the ingredients to her, by demeaning his intelligence.
2. Chris Brown
It’s nearly impossible to forget the number of times 26- year-old Chris Brown has been rude to fans and even worse to his fellow celebrities – most famously is, of course, when he punched Rihanna back in 2009. However less is known about how Brown treats the fans who wait for hours in hopes of catching the singer’s attention. He reportedly assaulted a male fan who photobombed Brown while he was posing with a number of female fans, stating that he didn’t like “that gay sh*t.” Thankfully Brown was then charged with assault and sent to rehab and then prison, but it seems that once Brown takes one step towards decency he takes three steps backwards. He reportedly assaulted Frank Ocean in 2013 over a parking space, injuring the singer just before his Grammy performance – it seems that just another day in Brown’s life, means another violent feud.
1. Kristen Stewart
Love her or hate her, we all know Kristen Stewart for her forays with fellow Twilight star Robert Pattinson, and her drama with their messy breakup. While she is frequently slated for her moody facial expressions, it seems that she may not be the ray of sunshine we have her pinned as. The Still Alice actress was caught on camera having an argument with a fan who asked for an autograph as the actress left LAX Airport. Stewart was all but friendly as she yelled at the fan to ‘Get the f*ck out of my face!’ This added to the already huge amount of rumors that were spreading about her being downright cruel to her fans and left a bad taste in the mouths of parents and fans when Stewart continued to text during interviews, publicly shaming fellow celebrities including her once soul-mate Robert Pattinson by telling him to “Shut the f*ck up!”
