Let's face it, nobody likes to lose, especially in public. However, this is an integral part of the game called show business. The recent Grammys 2015 once again entertained us with several cases of celebrity “sore losers.” Funnily, these are the front runners who often fail to take a loss with dignity. You would imagine celebrated actors and performers to be gracious and let others have a bite of a “victory” pie, but the reality proves time after time that such assumption is erred. Big fame leads to big egos, which tend to get in the way of friendliness. Sore loser reactions are what landed many artists in hot water and caused them to lose a share of dedicated fans. Whatever your take on such instances is, you must admit it's rather entertaining to witness each such slip.

We bring you the list of 10 celebrities, who have been caught in the act of being sore losers.

10. Chris Brown

In at number ten is a famous 2013 Grammy Awards pic courtesy of Chris Brown. The “Don't Wake Me Up” singer was defeated in the Best Urban Contemporary Album category by Frank Ocean, whose debut LP “Channel Orange” was not only praised by the voters, but also by the whole audience, which gave the California-native a standing ovation. It was a long way coming for Ocean, who was once a ghostwriter for artists, such as John Legend and Justin Bieber. Chris Brown, however, had been in an ongoing feud with Ocean prior to the ceremony and the two even got into a brawl in the parking lot of a recording studio shortly before the Grammys.

So it was not so big a surprise when Chris Brown failed to give Frank Ocean a standing ovation together with the rest of the audience. However, Brown's sore loser act did not go unnoticed neither by the fellow musicians, such as Adele and Ed Sheeran, who gave the singer glaring looks, nor by the Internet. The photo of the sitting Chris Brown clad in an all-white suit in the front row juxtaposed to the standing crowd sent Twitter into a frenzy the next day.

9. Gisele Bundchen

Gisele is not only a stunning supermodel, but also a savvy business woman, who seems to have everything under control. However, in 2012 the world saw her lose her composure as she gave her piece of mind to the angered crowd after her husband's team lost the 2012 Super Bowl. She ranted: ”You have to catch the ball when you’re supposed to catch the ball. My husband cannot f–king throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time.” Sore after the New England Patriots' loss, she definitely did not take the remarks of the fans graciously.

8. Drake

Let's go five years back when Justin Bieber was still a popular performer and taking the music scene by storm. Back then is when Drake had a sore slip of his own when he lost to Justin at the 2010 VMAs in the category Best New Artist. When Bieber won, Drake was caught mouthing, “I knew it, I knew it!” This isn't one of the worst cases on this list, however the reaction is enough to know that Drake did not lose graciously.

7. Faith Hill

A famous country crooner Faith Hill delivered one of the most epic sore loser moments of the past decade when she lost in the category of the Best Female Vocalist of the Year to Carrie Underwood. Faith Hill was shown on camera along with other nominees and once the name of the winner was announced, everyone could see Hill screaming into the camera “What?!” Later she released a public statement where she claimed that it was merely a joke and that she never meant to insult a fellow vocalist. Yet, to the rest of the world it seemed like a serious sore loser moment, with the video of her screaming into the camera becoming an instant Youtube sensation. Whether she was joking or actually failing to take a loss, her reaction earned her a spot in the sore loser guild.

6. Elton John and his Husband

For years both Elton John and his husband couldn't stand Madonna and neither kept from voicing their dislike of the pop queen. Although Madonna mostly kept mum about their feud, Elton John and his husband were not even trying to play nice. After losing in the Best Live Act nomination at 2004 Q Awards, Elton John instigated a battle by saying: “Madonna, best live act? F--- off. Since when has lip-syncing been live? Sorry about that, but I think everyone who lip syncs on stage in public when you pay like 75 quid to see them should be shot. Thank you very much. That’s me off her Christmas card list, but do I give a toss? No.”

A few years later, it was John's husband David Furnish who didn't take a loss light-heartedly. When Madonna took home the Golden Globe for the best original song in 2012, beating John, David stepped in and gave his piece of mind to the public: “Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in its narcissism." It's always a pity to see a legendary artist lose to someone who lip syncs, but slamming the winner in public is a sore loser move.

5. Eddie Murphy

Nobody dislikes losing quite like Eddie Murphy. The comedian stormed out of the awards ceremony shortly after he had lost to Alan Arkin in the best Supporting Actor category at the 2007 Oscars. The “Dreamgirls” star was a forerunner in the category and many predicted him to win the title that year. Although he later claimed that it had always been his plan to leave the ceremony as soon as the winner in his category was announced, it surely looked like he took it personally as he has been refusing to be the host of the show ever since.

4. Taylor Swift

In 2013 the America's sweetheart Taylor Swift grabbed everyone's attention when she hit a sour note at that year's Golden Globes. Unlike Kanye West, she did not jump on stage and slam the winner, but she did not need to – her face showed it all. The pop princess was up for Best Original Song for her tune “Safe and Sound” when she lost to Adele with her ballad “ Skyfall.” Her meager effort to look not disappointed and happy for Adele quickly heated up Twitter, with numerous users scolding her for being a sore loser. Although there is nothing wrong with being upset when you lose, if you are a super star with millions of fans and numerous cameras pointing at you, you should probably have a well-practiced poker face for such an occasion.

3. Kanye West at the EMAs 2006 and at the Grammys 2015

Topping our list at number three is the ultimate sore loser of the past decade – Kanye West. The first time the world saw his sore loser side was in 2004, when the musician-turned-fashion-designer complained behind the scenes about his loss at the American Music Awards. Two years later, he was not having it at the EMAs when his video did not take the title of the Best Video of the year in Copenhagen. He famously crashed the stage as the award was being presented to Justice and Simian. Kanye “Imma let you finish” West rattled that he should have been named the best in the category as his “Touch the Sky” video cost a million dollars, had Pamela Anderson in it and he was jumping across canyons. He has got some solid arguments right there, hasn't he?

Kanye West at the award shows is a gift that keeps on giving. This year's Grammy Ceremony was not an exception. Beyonce's heart dropped when she saw Kanye West rush to the stage after Beck's win at the 2015 Grammy Awards. We all thought that the bullet was dodged there when he pretended it all to be a joke and that he was simply making fun of the incident with Taylor Swift.

However, Beyonce was right to worry as later that night at the after-party he did not hold back and spoke his mind once again. Ever the creativity fighter (and apparently Beyonce's biggest fan), he gushed: "I just know that the Grammys, if they want real artists to keep coming back, they need to stop playing with us," he said at the aftershow. "Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyonce.”

2. Lebron James

While most celebrities show their loser side in the spur of the moment, there are a few who deliberately pull on a sore act. One such person is an all-star NBA play Lebron James. He is without a doubt one of the greatest NBA players of all time, which is probably why he couldn’t take defeat gracefully.

When the Cavaliers lost to the Orlando Magic in 2009, he famously refused to congratulate the winning team. In fact, he hated loosing so much that he did not even show up for the post-game press conference nor did he talk to or congratulate a single member of the opposing team. He simply took off. He later denied being a sore loser and said that it was simply hard for him to congratulate a team that beat him.

1. Kanye West at the VMAs 2006

It must be hardly surprising to see Kanye's name topping this list. At number one lands the most epic sore loser moment of the past decade – Kanye West's diss on Taylor Swift's win at the 2009 Video Music Awards. That year Beyonce mesmerized the whole world with her brilliant “Single Ladies” music video, yet it was Taylor who took the Best Female Video title home. As she got on stage, Kanye came out of the blue, took the microphone away from her, announced that it was Beyonce's video that deserved the victory and said: "Yo Taylor, I'm really happy for you, I'll let you finish, but Beyoncé has one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!" We get it, you love Beyonce, but let other artists enjoy their victory.
