Rehberg's annual financial disclosure form, which every member of Congress files, says his net worth for 2010 ranges from $1.8 million to $3.6 million - a decline from last year's range of $11 million to $52 million.

Denny Rehberg, the wealthiest member of Montana's congressional delegation, reported a substantial decline in his multimillion-dollar net worth for 2010, primarily because of a new appraisal of his family's land holdings in Billings.

The decrease is attributed to a reappraisal of Rehberg's real estate and agricultural land holdings on the north edge of Billings, including the Rehberg Ranch housing development, his office said.

Rehberg spokesman Jed Link said Friday June 17,2011,that a July 2010 reappraisal of the properties - the first appraisal since 2002 - logged a lower value for the properties and thus the decline in the congressman's assets and net worth for 2010.

Denny is a Representative from Montana; born in Billings, Yellowstone County, Mont., October 5, 1955; graduated from West High School, Billings, Mont.; attended Montana State University, Billings, Mont., 1973-1974; B.A., Washington State University, Pullman, Wash., 1977; rancher; staff for United States Representative Ron Marlenee of Montana, 1979-1982; member of the Montana state house of representatives, 1984-1991; lieutenant governor, Mont., 1991-1996; unsuccessful candidate for the United States Senate in 1996; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Seventh and to the five succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2001-present).
