Born Geraldine Anne Ferraro on August 26, 1935 in Newburgh, New York, Geraldine Ferraro has an estimated net worth of $4 million. Growing up, Ferraro was a boarder at the Mount Saint May while she also briefly attended a parochial school in the South Bronx. She later went to Marymount Manhattan College with a scholarship where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English in 1956. During her senior year, she met and dated John Zaccaro of of Forest Hills, Queens, who had graduated from Iona College with a commission in the U.S. Marine Corps. She then worked as an elementary school teacher before decided to attend law school where she Juris Doctor degree with honors from Fordham University School of Law in 1960.
