Gorman, and Cammack, are the daughters of the late Douglas Gorman, the co-founder of CMG, a computer services group.

He set it up in 1964 and built it into one of the largest computer operations in the country, but died in 1995, just months before it floated on the stock market. His daughters inherited his stake and sold virtually all their shares in late 1998.
