Patricia Miller is an American businesswoman who has an estimated net worth of $300 million.

The idea of creating Vera Bradley spawned when she and her neighbor, Barbara Bradley Baekgaard were waiting for their flight to Atlanta in 1982. They noticed that the designs of travel bags at that time were quite unusual. They then borrowed $250 each from their husbands to create their first handbags out of floral quilted cotton, and eventually, Vera Bradley was established.

The company now sells half a billion dollars worth of handbags, luggage, and other accessories. In 2005, Miller took a brief of absence from the company to work for the state of Indiana as the Secretary of Commerce and to serve as the CEO of the Indiana Economic Development Corp until 2010. She decided to retire in 2012. Meanwhile, she serves as a director for Indiana University Foundation and for the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.

Patricia Miller studied Bachelor of Arts and Science at Indiana University. She is married to Michael and has three children.
