Well known philanthropist Lynn Schusterman has an estimated net worth of $5 billion as of March 2017, according to Bloomberg. Together with Charles Schusterman, she co-founded Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation where she serves as the Chairman. Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation works on helping Jewish causes throughout the globe. They also seek to donate 25% to the needs of the people in Oklahoma City. She has also co-founded several philanthropic organizations which include the ROI Community, Jerusalem Season of Culture and the Schusterman-Israel Foundation. Of German and Jewish ancestry, Lynn Schusterman was born on January 21, 1939  in Kansas City, Missouri. She is a graduate of the University of Miami. It was in 1962 when she married Charles who was of Russian-Jewish origin. Charles Schuterman owned Samson Investment Company, which was considered as one of the largest and most successful gas exploration and production in the U.S. Diagnosed with leukemia in 1983, he died in 2000.  In November 2011, Samson Investment Company was sold to several investors led by KKR for only $7.2 billion.
