The final family link with Cobham, the Dorset-based defense group, ended in 2006 with the death of former chairman Sir Michael Cobham.

The family, led by Sir Michael’s widow, Lady Nadine, has a £10m stake. It used to be £90m and Sunday Times Rich List assumes share sales have raised £60m. She currently has an estimated net worth of $32.6 million

According to her, it may be difficult to step into a new leadership role. But, if you believe in the cause and have a roadmap of the future, things can be so much easier.

Lady Nadine Cobham became the first Director General of the not-for-profit corporate membership organization 5% Club. It mainly focuses on the promotion of 'earn-to-learn' initiatives and apprenticeships.

The 5% Club ultimately aims to provide an empirical-led and demonstrable contribution to minimizing skills shortage in every industry which the members serve.
