Italian businessman Giuliana Benetton is one of the founders of Benetton Group and she has an estimated net worth of $2.9 billion as of May 2015 according to Forbes. She is the 11th richest person in Italy and is ranked 736th in the list of World Billionaires.

Born on July 8, 1937, Giuliana earned her estimated net worth of $2 billion when she co-founded the clothing retailer Benetton Group in 1965 with her siblings Luciano, Carlo and Gilberto. She is in charge of planning Benetton’s knitwear collections and in coordinating product lines. She started the family business by actually knitting sweaters that her brother Luciano would peddle by bicycle. The product has been under several levels before it became the United Colors of Benetton.

Aside from Benetton Group, Giuliana Benetton has stakes in motorways operator, Atlantia S.p.A., and roadside restaurant chain, Autogrill, which she also shares with her siblings. She is the chairman and the member of the board of Edizion S.r.l.
