Swiss businesswoman and renowned art collector Esther Grether has an estimated net worth of $2.2 billion as of March 2013 according to Forbes. Grether amassed most of her net worth from inheriting her husband's beauty and health care products company in 1975.  She currently runs the company with her children.

For more than 30 years, Esther Grether served as the Chairperson of Doetsch Grether Group which is based in Basel. Since 1986, she has been serving as a member of the Board of Directors of Swatch Group where she is the second largest shareholder.
