Brazilian businesswoman Dulce Pugliese de Godoy Bueno has an estimated net worth of $2.4 billion as of March 2013 according to Forbes. Most of her net worth is acquired from their healthcare and hospital business.

Currently, Dulce Pugliese de Godoy Bueno was married to fellow billionaire Edson de Godoy Bueno, the founder of Amil. Since 2007, her former husband has bought more than 15 firms until Amil became the largest health care company in Latin America. The company specializes on offering discount pharmacy, dental care and health care to over 5 million people.

Towards the end of 2012, United Health Group (UHG), a giant health insurance in the company bought Amil's 90% stake. Sixty percent of the total stake was bought from Edson and Dulce Bueno while the remaining 30% was taken from public shareholders.

In addition to Amil, Dulce Bueno also holds investments in Total Care which is a private holding company that manages direct investments in hospitals found in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. She also has shares in Dasa which is considered as Latin America's largest chain of laboratories.
