Dove, 49, started out after her A-levels in the late 1970s by taking a holiday job at an estate agent in north London. Within three years, she became the branch manager and she eventually bought the business.

She later built up her own luxury property portfolio in the area and offered interior design services to wealthy clients.

Her portfolio has been valued at up to £80m. The jewels in her property crown – a seven-bedroom Victorian mansion in Hampstead with a neighbouring 18th-century, three-bedroom cottage once lived in by Robert Louis Stevenson – are on sale for £30m. She is the former wife of the top divorce lawyer, Raymond “Jaws” Tooth.
