Indian social worker and businesswoman Anu Aga has an estimated net worth of $790 million as of October 2012 according to Forbes.

Anu Aga was born on August 3, 1942 in Mumbai, India. After completing her B.A. in Economics from St Xavier's College in Mumbai, she attended Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) to take her post graduation degree in medical and psychiatric social work.

In 1985, she started working for Thermax, and from 1991 through 1996, she headed the firm's HR division. When her husband, Rohinton Aga, died, she took over his position as Chairman. In 2004, she stepped down and was replaced by her daughter, Meher Pudumjee. Currently involved in various social works, Anu Aga is still a part of the company's board of directors. Anu Aga currently resides in Pune, Maharashtra. She has a son named Kurush, who died at age 25.
