Sky Dylan Dayton is an American entrepreneur, founder of EarthLink, co-founder of eCompanies, founder and chairman of Boingo, a private wireless company that provides global Wi-Fi services at more than 125,000 hotspots worldwide.
Dayton became the chairman and investor of the digital education company called Age of Learning that was able to raise $150 million last May 2016. This was able to value the business at $1 billion. He was also a board member and investor of the semantic web and structured data startup called Diffbot and the online marketplace called Artsy that was able to raise $50 million last July 2017. Dayton is also the co-founder of the City Storage Systems and CloudKitchens that was able to secure a $150 million investment from the founder of Uber Travis Kalanick who eventually became the company's CEO.
