Stepping down as the deputy chairman of moneysupermarket.com in 2008 allowed Simon Nixon to develop his other interests. He launched a travel guide website, simonseeks.com, invested in property and set up a luxury holiday home company, SimonEscapes. Nixon launched moneysupermarket.com in 1999 after dropping out of university to work as a financial adviser. It floated on the stock market in 2007. He still works part-time at the Chester-based venture on product development and has a $311.54 million stake. His other wealth comes from share sales and property. Simon Nixon has an estimated net worth of $700 million.
