Chinese entrepreneur and software engineer Shi Yuzhu is the Founder, Chairman and President of Giant Interactive Group Inc. with an estimated net worth of $4.2 billion as of May 2015 according to Forbes. According to Forbes, he is the 42nd richest person in China and is listed 490th among the World Billionaires.

Mr. Shi has built his estimated net worth of $2.9 billion when he founded Giant Interactive in November 2001. It operates and develops online games such as its blockbuster MMO ZT Online in China. As of this year, his wealth is up by half which made him one of the biggest gainers in the list. Based in China, he is an investor with a twenty-year track record of making golden bets on widely different industries.

Shi’s majority of investments are in the banks and beverages business. He gained profits in his timely investment at China Minsheng Bank where he holds a 4% stake along with his daughter. Other billionaire investors in the bank include Lu Zhiqiang, Liu Yonghao and Guo Guangchang. Also, his shares in the online games company have doubled since its $3 dividend per share in 2011.
