A notorious former drug dealer, Rayful Edmond has an estimated net worth of $50 million. Born on November 26, 1964 in Washington, D.C., he is largely credited for introducing crack cocaine in the place. It was during this time period that Washington, D.C. was considered as the “murder capital” because crack cocaine had ravaged the city. It came to a point when people were afraid to leave their homes or even take public transportation.

Rayful Edmond III was arrested in 1989 at the age of 24. In 1992, he was indicted along with his two associates after they were alleged to have bought around 1,000 to 1,200 kilograms per week. They bought the drugs from the Tujillo-Blanco brothers who were associated with the Medellin cartel and sold these to Washington area wholesalers.
