Swedish-born Linda is the former wife of Mike Ashley, the sportswear billionaire who also owns Newcastle United. A property developer, she has stakes in several small businesses, including Watford-based Current Design. The burly businessman broke up with his wife Linda, the mother of his three children, several years ago and they divorced in 2003. Her divorce settlement amounted to £50 million. She later found new romance with Simon Brodin, six years her junior and the managing director of a family textile company, with whom she has since had a baby.
