Malaysian businessman Tiong Hiew King has an estimated net worth of $1.06 billion as of April 2016. He is known to be the current chairman of Rimbunan Hijau Group. Rimbunan Hijau Group is a timber company which he co-founded in 1975. Through his group, Tiong Hiew King operates Malaysia's Guang Ming Daily and Sin Chew Jit Poh, Papua New Guinea's The National Daily, and Hong Kong's Ming Pao Holdings Ltd.

In addition to Rimbunan Hijau Group, Tiong Hiew King also holds interests in Malaysia's logging industry.
