Currently based in New York City, Noam Gottesman is an American-Israeli businessman with an estimated net worth of $2.1 billion as of April 2016 according to Forbes. Noam Gottesman is known to be a former hedge fund manager who co-founded GLG Partners. As of March 2012, he was included in Forbes 400 as one of the wealthiest persons in America.

In the past, Gottesman has worked for Goldman Sachs where he later became the Executive Director and was able to manage global equity portfolios in private client group. After leaving Goldman Sachs in 1995, he founded GLG Partners along with Jonathan Green and Pierre Lagrange. In November 2007, the firm was listed on the New York Stock Exchange. While working as co-CEO of the firm, GLG Partners was able to manage over $24.6 billion worth of assets.

In October 2010, the trio sold GLG to Man Group for $1.6 billion. He continued serving as co-CEO until he stepped down in 2012. He is currently running TOMS Capital, an investment firm based in New York.

Noam Gottesman was previously married to Geraldine Gottesman. They have four children. In 2010 however, he was photographed on several occasions with Lucy Liu.
