Chinese businessman Nie Tengyun has an estimated net worth of $5.16 billion as of March 2017, according to Bloomberg.

Nie Tengyun quit his full time job in 1994 to join his late brother Tenfei's STO Express. After his brother killed in a car accident in 1998, he decided to put up his own courier company, Yunda Express. His company provides delivery service in Taobao, Alibaba's online marketplace in 2007.

His company expanded in Taiwan and Hong Kong in 2009. Yunda Express entered the Shenzhen Stock Exchange through a reverse takeover of Ningbo Xinhai Electric in December 2016.

Nie Tengyun was born on January 1976 in Tonglu, Zhenjang province, China.
