Considered as one of Turkey's wealthiest people, Mustafa Vehbi Koc was a Turkish  businessman with an estimated net worth of $1.2 billion as of March 2013 according to Forbes. He belongs to the third generation of the Koc family which is considered as one of the wealthiest families in Turkey.

He currently serves as the Chairman of Koc Holding whose stock price was reported to have increased by 30% last year. The company holds interests in finance, durable consumer goods, automotive, energy, retail, shipyard, tourism, technology and agriculture sectors. In 2013, RMK Marin, a construction company which he owns, became involved in the construction of six war ships.

Mustafa Vehbi Koc is a graduate of George Washington University. He is currently married and has two children. He is known to be the oldest son of Mustafa Rahmi Koc who is also a billionaire. In addition to Mustafa Rahmi Koc, other members of the Koc family, his aunts like Suna Kirac and Semahat Arsel, as well as his brothers, Mehmet Omer and Yildirim Ali, also made it to this year's list of world billionaires.
