American businessman and executive Kenneth Chenault has an estimated net worth of $90 million in 2012. Kenneth Irvine Chenault was born on June 2, 1951 in Mineola, New York. After receiving his bachelor's degree in history from Bowdoin College, Chenault attended Harvard Law School where he earned his juris doctor in 1976.

In 1981, he started working for American Express' Strategic Planning Group. In 1997, he became the chief operating officer and Chairman of the company. Starting in 2001, Chenault has been serving as the company's CEO.

Currently serving on the Council on Foreign Relations, Ken Chenault also works for IBM as Director and Business Roundtable as co-chairman. He is currently based in New Rochelle, New York with his wife Kathryn Chenault and their children.
