Leprino Foods is considered as the largest producer of mozzarella cheese in the world. The company was founded by his father Mike Sr. who started with producing ricotta and cheese to local stores in the 50's. Currently, Leprino Foods supplies cheese to several brands including Pizza Hut, Hot Pockets, Domino's and Papa John's. Aside from cheese, the company also produces lactose, whey protein and sweet whey powder which is normally used in creating formula milk and yogurt.
