A member of the famous family in the world of NBA, George Maloof Jr. is one of the sons of George Maloof Sr. (deceased), who owned several properties across the United States. The family's most popular asset is the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association. The other members of Maloof family include Coleen (George Sr.'s wife) and their children, Joe Maloof, Phil Maloof, Gavin Maloof, Adrienne Maloof-Nassif, and of course, George Maloof Jr..

Of Lebanese and Irish descent, George Maloof Jr.'s family actually originated from New Mexico. Together with his siblings, George Maloof Jr. is a part owner of  Palms Casino Resort. He is actually one of the major forces behind the successful construction and operation of Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas Nevada. He also oversaw the operations of various hotels in California and the Southwest which include Central Palace Casino in Colorado, Fiesta Casino Hotel in Northern Las Vegas and of course, the Palms Casino Resort.

Prior to becoming a businessman, George Maloof Jr. was once a student at the University of Nevada Las Vegas where he finished a degree on casino management.
