Peruvian businessman Eduardo Hochschild has an estimated net worth of $2.1 billion as of March 2013 according to Forbes. He is known to be the nephew of the founder of Hochschild Group. The company, which was founded in 1911, is actually composed of Hochschild Mining (the silver and gold mining arm of the group) and Cementos Pacasmayo which specializes on manufacturing cement.

Today, Eduardo Hochschild sits as the Chairman of the Board of Cementos Pacasmayo and Hochschild Mining. Cementos Pacasmayo is considered as one of the largest publicly traded cement companies in Peru. Since February 2012, the company is listed in the New York Stock Exchange. On the other hand, Hochschild Mining has been listed in London Stock Exchange since 2006.

Originating from Peru, Hochschild is currently married with four children. He completed his Bachelor of Arts/Science at Tufts University.
