One of the richest men in Peru, Belmont is one of the recently added personalities on Forbes' list of world billionaires. He is the owner of door-to-door cosmetics company Belcorp, which operates in the US and 15 other Latin American countries. Belcorp has estimated sales of $2 billion.

Eduard Belmont is currently married and has three children. He is a graduate of Harvard Business School. Eduard and his brother Fernando used to be the owner of the cosmetic company Yanbal. However, the two separated ways in 1988 and decided to run their own beauty enterprise. Fernando decided to retain the Yanbal name.
