Real estate entrepreneur Roy Donahue “Don” Peebles has an estimated net worth of $350 million in 2012. He is known to be the chief executive officer and chairman of Peebles Corp. which is considered as the largest African-American ownership and real estate development company in the United States. The company holds stakes in several high-rise commercial and residential properties as well as luxury hotels in Las Vegas, Miami Beach and Washington D.C.

Don Peebles was born on March 2, 1960 in Washington, D.C. Initially, he studied at Rutgers University where he took his pre-med. However, he wasn't able to finish his degree. Instead, he became an appraiser and real estate agent in Washington DC. At age 23, he was able to establish his own commercial and residential real estate appraisal firm, the RDP Corporation.
