British businessman David Winton Harding has an estimated net worth of $1.55 billion as of May 2017 according to Forbes.

After graduating from the University of Cambridge, David Harding started working for stockbroker, Wood Mackenzie. Two years later, he began working for Johnson Matthey & Wallace futures brokerage firm. In 1985, he started working for Sabre Fund Management as one of the firm's earliest commodity trading advisors (CTAs) in the UK. Two years later, he co-founded Adam, Harding & Lueck (AHL) with Martin Lueck and Michael Adam.

In 1997, David Harding founded the investment management firm Winton Capital Management. The firm was launched with $1.6 million worth of assets. Three years later, the firm had an average return of 18% annually. By February 2012, the firm holds a total of $28.5 billion assets.

As of 2012, Harding still remains as the majority owner of the firm and by 2013, he started serving as the firm's president. Two years later, he became the firm's chief executive officer.

David Winton Harding was born on August 1961 in Oxford, England. He is married to Claudia and has four children; three of whom are from his previous relationships.
