Bobby Goodson was born in 1964 in Jacksonville, North Carolina. At age 11, he started working in the logging industry. At age 13, he met his future wife, Lori Mueller. A year later, the two started dating and since then, they have been together. The couple has two children together, Justin and Britney. He went to Chowan College where he took a degree in Graphics Communication.

Currently, he runs and manages his Goodson's All Terrain Logging which headquarters in Pender County, North Carolina. It was in 1986 when he started his first business. Today, he owns his own slogging trucks, and currently employs 17 people together with Justin.
